You're a retard and a half. You're saying kirin is a borrowed power too right? If we go by your flawed logic then chakra itself is borrowed power since it belongs to the shinju.

Manga already stated it otherwise. Only Sage's mother got the chakra from the shinju. Everyone else got it through the teachings of Rikudou. :)

So no, chakra does not come from the Shinju. However, it's knowledge was gained from the Shinju.

Rikudō's mother got her chakra from the Shinju, the original source of all chakra. Going by OP's logic, all chakra is borrowed because it originally belonged to the Shinju. The manga has already stated that the Shinju was the original source of all chakra. [ ]
"However the Shinju, hell-bent on getting it's chakra back, went berserk.."
"The founding father of all shinobi and the man that, in effect, taught us all chakra.."
Rikudō didn't go around giving everyone chakra, he traveled the world teaching the concept of chakra.

"The clearest characteristic of a shinobi is their ability to manipulate chakra to create and use techniques.."

No, you misunderstood. Given was used in the sense of not original.

If you're going to make a thread as such, use the correct word. Like I have said before, the word you're looking for is borrowed not given. I even gave examples to why the word should have been borrowed from the start.
- Obito giving Kakashi his other sharingan; is a given power.
- Naruto borrows chakra from Kurama; a borrowed power.
Similar to Naruto borrowing chakra from Kurama, Sennin Mōdo users borrow natural energy. That's how you should have put it, but in the end I disagree. It's neither given nor borrowed, but it's not the users original power. It doesn't matter anyways almost everything in this damn manga is given or borrowed, even chakra itself. Going by your logic.

Kirin is not their original power because all you are doing is controlling an external force. If you were born with chakra then it is apart of your originality, It was only given to the first person who ate the fruit. Seems you misunderstood. It's alright alot of people can't think either.

As I said before she was the only one that the tree gave it's chakra to. Anyone else born with it, it is then apart of their originality. As long as you understand my statement, you can use whatever word you see fit. Basically the point coming across the thread is that SM is not the users original power.
