when we know more than enough info on each characters power and moveset, then feats are the best way to determine a victor since they are mostly based on facts,

Nagato himself admitted that himself(paths) are inferior. Does not matter what you have seen.
Logic stands that Nagato knows himself better than you based on what you have seen.
Feats are mostly an excuse to declare superiority.
Based on Nagatos feats you assume the pains will beat Jiraiya when Nagato himself said no that won't happen. Basically you take the manga into your own hands and rewrite it.

Its strange to say Jiraiya would win when he lost. However, the secret is a very large issue dealing with the pains.

And feats won't even always work against someone. Many feats in this manga have been countered, avoided, shut down, etc.
There is no one shot one kill until it happens. (Such as CT being enough to kill Jiraiya)

Since all this is hypothetical because they are both dead..
Any debating over it is also hypothetical.
So hypothetically if Jiraiya were to fight the 6 paths again and he knows the secret, Jiraiya wins, as stated by Nagato.

SM Kabuto already has shown that without Sasuke+edo tensei, Itachi would've been toast in minutes.

SM Naruto spanked Kurama. Not to mention, his Senpou Fuuton: Rasenshurikens are huge now. Sasuke's Susano'o would be obliterated unless it's Perfect Susano'o, at that point, we don't know what it can really tank.

SM Jiraiya has ma and pa for backup and took on Pain without knowledge. He could've defeated a Rinnegan user if he knew Nagato's secret. And for the record, Nagato himself would've probably been an easier match for Jiraiya since he's just one body and can be pwnd in frog kata and blind spots a lot easier, especially against a sage. Who has 2 sages on his shoulders.

SM Minato only appeared once and got pwd. But that's because.....oh idk.....he was going up against a god jinchuuriki. The only being in the Naruto universe to harm Minato were 10-tailed jins. I don't consider that as a failure for someone who has no kekkei genkai or tailed beast during the confrontation(against Madara). Only SM. He pwnd MS Obito in less than a minute, mostly due to Obito monologuing. I don't even wanna know what would've happened if he had SM active the entire time. And Rinnegan Obito is only apparent if he has the 6 jinchuuriki at his side. If not, then he's still just MS Obito.

IMO, sages win.

-Things for sages to watch for: Sasuke's Perfect Susano'o, Obito's space/time, Itachi's Totsuka blind spot counters, Pain's absorbing, Shinra Tensei and Chibaku Tensei.

-Things for doujutsu users to watch for: Combined frog kata combo's, Minato's FTG+sensing, Naruto's massive Rasenshurikens, Ultimate Rasengan barrages, Kabuto's White Rage, Kabuto and Jiraiya's sound genjutsu.
