[Ken] Slicing and dicing with Nathan

[Waindo]

Tenten appears at neutral training fields near Konohagakure, she spots some training dummy-s and a stone to sit on in the middle of the grassy green terrain; she walks towards it, putting down her gear, weapons and scrolls; sitting down and patiently waiting for the arrival of Castiel-sama.

 

[Nathan]

Castiel jumps down from one of the trees near one of the few dummies around the field, Castiel walks up to the young girl that seems to be waiting for him. As he gets closer to her, roughly four meters distance between the two.

Hello, my name is Castiel, or Cas, and what would your name be. I'll be teaching you...what am I teaching you again?

Castiel had completely had a lapse in memory, he had forgotten what he'd be teaching this young lady.

Tenten spots a man on the approach, she does know he is a member of the Leaf, just like she was long ago; though his flakjacket and his headband bring a sense of discomfort to Tenten, seeing as how her fellow villagers are loosing their lifes battling against Konoha just sheer kilometres away.

Hello, Castiel-sama, I am Tenten of Iwagakure; what will you be teaching me? Didn't we discuss this in our letters....Ehh...this one has an even worse memory than Oonoki-ojisan...

Kenjutsu sir, you will be teaching me the ways of weaponry and swordsmanship, which will fit quite nicely with my Bukijutsu in the future.

She scratches her head in disbelief while Castiel-san is looking at her with "wtf am I doing here" facial expression, also scratching his head.

 

[Nathan]

Eh, oh yes. Sorry, that's right I remember now.

Castiel said with a slight embarrassed tone of voice, Castiel then takes two steps backs and repeats the words:

So, what do you know about kenjutsu?

Castiel grabs out a kunai and starts throwing it up into the air and catching it, repeating the process as TenTen begins to answer his question.

 

[Waindo]

She starts giving her short explanation while following the kunai's up and down movement, getting slightly hypnotized while reaching in her pouch; she noticed a slight dent on the top of the kunai sensei is throwing. Her right eye is seen tearing up a bit;

That poor kunai, who knows what it has gone trough.
She throws a whetstone to Castiel-san while giving an explanation

Kenjutsu or swordsmanship, is litellary translated as Sword Techniques, consists of techniques which use swords, katanas, or any type of bladed weapons. It can be combined with ninjutsu, taijutsu and fuuinjutsu to achieve a bigger effect and power. Swordsmanship and other bladed weapon techniques are a part of Bukijutsu (Weaponry), which I'm eager to master and improve, and ofcourse to complement it with Kenjutsu.

 

[Nathan]

Hmm, well done. Not bad.

Castiel using his left hand he moves it to the back under his coat to pull out a sword that concealed within his pants. He takes it out from his pants and chuck's TenTen the sword. This all happened while the kunai he was throwing was still in the air, he caught the kunai as soon as he threw the sword holding the kunai and putting back in his pouch.

Don't cut yourself. Now, what I want you to do is this; see the dummy to the far right of me, I want you to go up to it and attack it with the sword. Be as detailed as you can, explaining what hand is first on the blade, where you hit the dummy. Things like that, if you have questions about anything, ask once you have completed this tasked.

Castiel then turns to his right and points to the dummy he means.

As she threw the kunai, a shortsword flies to her from sensei's direction, after observing the blade with respect for a few moments; she takes a bow towards Castiel-sama than turns towards the training dummy, taking a few steps towards it while gripping the sword with her right hand on top of the handle and her left hand beneath it; on the handles top.

Upon reaching the dummy she takes a one of the basic kenjutsu stances, known as Jodan (High stance or Fire stance)

Tenten is holding the sword above the dummies "head", ready to strike down in a powerful vertical or diagonal cut.

She is putting her left foot forward , to allow the torso's rotation (as the right foot is brought forward) to add to the sword's speed. She performs a diagonall cut lifting the sword vertically to behind her back before performing a swift diagonall cutting motion from her right to her left in an instant, "decapitating" the dummy. She spins the sword in her right hand before gripping it again and turning to Castiel-san again, bowing down with respect.

[Nathan]

Okay good. That was good, now what I want you to do is get in close and take out your sword, deal about 5 or so slashes in any direction on your targets body; once you have completed and dealt the slashes, deal a powerful final slash where ever you want, I would personally use the make the final strike down the middle of his body. Perform it on my shadow clone here.

Castiel then makes the hand seals to create a shadow clone to the left of him.
