My friend wants to get it, she's one of those CP freaks >.>

I've had it before, it's really odd. I kind of zone out when I have it

It is scary the first few times and it feels like your going to die. But for a lot of people (including myself) sleep paralysis is a temporary thing that can be associated with stress. So you hopefully won't experience it too often during your lifetime.

some sleep paralysis are when your body is fully asleep and your mind is still awake and you can see the your whole entire room, sometimes it makes you vulnerable that you can sense someone in your room depends on what's going on your brain.. Sometimes is scary sometimes it's not..

Yeah at first it does, but after a while you get used to it. it happens to me alot. you just have to have a strong grip on reality when it happens and stay calm and your breathing will seem normal. just stay calm and know what ever you see is not real. you will get used to what you see and how you feel to the point where its normal to you

I've suffered from sleep paralysis since i was about 5 years old and i still suffer from it till this day. Last time it happened was about two nights ago. I CAN TOTALLY RELATE MAN.

First thing... the feeling like your body is paralysed.. as if it is asleep.. yet the mind is totally awake. To make things worse (or more complex) my sleep paralysis has actually evolved to the next level: I was tired of it happening and feeling helpless so one time i tried to force myself to sit up.... i did... and then looked back... and saw myself sleeping on my bed... like i had come out of my body! NO LIE. I then realised that i was experiencing Astral Projection.

Thing is.. there's not much i can do about it. So i've just accepted it as part of who i am... and what i can do. Kinda like a gift.

It happens everytime i sleep in a certain position (not going to say on here as i dont want people tryin to emulate it... it's not a joke. It's extremely draining.. in the morning i wake up exhausted like i havnt slept at all and will walk around the whole day feelin slightly 'stoned'. weird.

However... it does have its plus side! ever had a h*rny dream during sleep paralysis/astral projection??? all i can say is dayyuuuum. it is actually better than the real thing seriously. and i have plenty experience on that side too heh hehe

See it as a gift.

That's why i go by the name Uchiha. My Genjutsu ability is actually REAL (and you know fiction is often based on fact).

sorry about that, my genjutsu has a far range that even effects ppl in their sleep, or if they have their eyes closed

I know what you mean. I've been having sleep paralysis since I can remember. It can be scary at moments. I've learn to overcome my sleep paralysis 95% of the times. The other times, it can feel very gruesome that I fall prey to my fears. When you experience it, try to realize that it is only temporary.

At first I thought you had a rational post (although, it had many grammatical errors). After the bold though... and the last line.

I think you need to see a doctor - or more specifically, a psychiatrist.

I would probably know how it feels if I could shake my insomnia and get some sleep for once.

Yep I have experienced those. I've been advised that as much as possible don't stay in the supine position for too long, and try the side-lying. It's always with supine that I experience sleep paralysis, but with side-lying I don't.

Yeah, it's actually pretty interesting to experience.

Some people go all sissy-like when they experience it and over-exaggerate though.
