Pein wouldn't even need Konan's help with this one. Naruto didn't have sage mode at the time and Sasuke didn't have his MS. This fight is like breakfast for Pein.

This same sasuke is pretty much the one that beat deidara, and I don't put konan above deidara in my akatsuki rankings. Even if you do, you also have to factor naruto into this and although he doesn't have sage mode, he has rasenshuriken, is very intelligent with the use of shadow clones since his training and can summon gamabunta who has konan's weakness: oil.

I to put Deidara above Konan in my Akatsuki ranking but just to let you know Deidara vs Sasuke was a draw until Deidara went crazy and blew himself up. And stylistically Konan matches up better against Sasuke then Deidara did because Deidara c4 was easier to read then Konan attack. Although am not sure if she can take on Sasuke plus Naruto at the same time.

agreed then he can make them into paths of pain, they r much better looking than some of the ones he has now. Plus sasuke's sharingan would be a big help wen nxt he encounters genjutsu

Kakuzu is kage level, a low kage, but still kage, yet naruto pretty much ended three of his hearts on his own. Not saying that base naruto would beat kakuzu, but they are at least of comparable strength.

Deidara is also a low kage level, since he was able to beat gaara. Most people will say that deidara's victory was only because gaara was worried about the village and I agree, but what most people don't realized is that gaara had his advantage too: the battle was in a desert. Deidara is at least low kage level as well, and sasuke strait up beat him.

There's no way the duo are beating pain and konan, but saying that they are both just jounin level is wrong.
