Snakes are cold blooded reptiles(i think) and are referred to as Lizards with out legs. Snakes can sense and see heat which makes for the perfect attack.in the wild they usually feed on smaller animals swallowing them whole. Some snakes also have a lethal venom

either way i want you to try summoning a medium sized snake by running blood through your seal after encanting the following hand seals.

*biting my finger I focus my chakra and wipe the blood down my tattoo seal in order to summon a normal sized snake*

For instance, the Kyodaija that was summoned during the invasion of Konoha had marks on its skin similar to the Cursed Seal of Heaven, while the ones summoned by Orochimaru in the Forest of Death had no such marks. Anko Mitarashi also summoned a blue-colored snake of similar size.
