[Spoilers] Silvers Rayleigh

For a while now I've been wondering how strong Rayleigh really is, since he was the first mate of Roger and fought on par with Kizaru, although the both of them obviously weren't fighting seriously... not to mention he mastered all 3 types of haki.

So I've thought of several levels of strength

Yonkou
Admiral
Whitebeard commander
Vice-admiral

I would put him between Yonkou and Admiral, he would probably fight on par with Kaido though since Shanks beat him and went to marineford on the same day.. atleast that, perhaps he's on Shanks' level but we haven't seen enough of him to back that up.

Well he is strong enough to match Kizaru and we don't know much about it him so I'll go with Admiral or a little higher. xd

It depends on what part of his lifetime you're talking about,

In Prime, he's defainatly on Yonkou Level, but since, age takes a toll on all of us, right now, I'd probably consider him at at least Admiral level.

Age doesn't seem to matter that much in OP though, just look at Whitebeard xd and he was sick U_U but then again.. he wasn't human O.O

I myself would put him on the level of Yonkou , but i think that you underestimate Admirals, even tho that Kizaru was blocked by Rayleigh, and Akainu got owned by Whitebeard, but i still think that Yonkou are equal to Admirals, but maybe they are superior a bit tho, still, i put Rayleigh on the level of Admiral, do to his age

Yeah, I don't expect the gap between Yonkou and Admirals to be wide, but I just had to put Yonkou above Admiral considering how Whitebeard beat up Akainu and how easily Shanks blocked his attack.

Rayleigh is probably high admiral or Yonkou level cause of his haki mastery and because of his experience

He's higher than Admiral that's for sure but I think he's still lower than Yonkou...

I think we all underestimate the Admirals even Blackbeard was scared of Akainu and Blackbeard is a beast (although I dont like him) and often in these series characters seem really strong to start but seem weak after or seem weak and then are really strong which I believe is the case of the Admirals

seriously guys, the gap between admirals and yonkou is huge, akainu was almost killed in 1 minute by whitebeard who was 72 years old and near death from all the fighting, and then shanks just by showing off made everyone retreat and stopping the war

There is a reason he's been able to live so long.
He's either at the level of Yonkou or above.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't he swim to that Island before the Timeskip?

Yonkou level is kind of difficult to figure out given that we don't know Big Mom and Kaidou... yes they are probably strong as hell to have that position, but there may be a gap of power between Yonkous, like it happens with the shichibukai... I think we have more to see before determining Yonkou level.

But as regards the actual topic, I'm placing Rayleigh slightly above the Admirals. Not that I'm underestimating them, but I think the Dark King is one of the strongest people alive and it jsut fits, he was able to hold his ground pretty well with Kizaru (even through neither of them was going at its fullest)... man I can only imagine the beast he must've been when he was travelling with Roger xd
