Most of these problems that I see that makes their life hard is because of they're stupid choices that resulted in being rich, honestly.

I'm not saying that. Yeah, it takes a lot of effort to write raps. Honestly, if it's a good, well thought out rap, I'd say it probably takes more effort than the music that I listen to. But when every song on the album talks about getting money, etc. then it's not that hard. All I'm saying is, writing lyrics puts stress on everyone, especially when you have to periodically do it.

1. Then stop acting like he's stupid for it. He was going through a lot of shit and made a bad decision. Happens to the best of us.

2. Lemme just keep on using Eminem as an example. He's rich and famous. Still had to deal with:
-Marital problems
-Suicidal feelings and depression
-His f8cked up relationship with his mom
-Supporting his daughters(was very hard in the beginning for him to do)
-He can't leave his house and go anywhere because people harass him
-Constant misunderstanding of his lyrics led to several problems with this things like Women's Rights Activists, LGBT, GLAAD.
-Constant pressure from his label fans having really high standards.

Tell me that's not a lot to deal with, and yet he's rich and famous. And he's just one.

Am I the only one sick of this genre? There are a no good songs out there, but all of it is no talent blabbering and saying Beer over and over again. or, talking about getting girls, drunk, high, cash. Well, blatantly saying it to a Repetitive tune.

I personally find it to be a horrid genre through and through with a few rare songs that are good.

There i changed it now it fits country music and while i agree with you on rap not having any good songs theres other genres out there *cough* country *cough* that fit the same description ;D

I don't think rap is horrible, in fact I'm a big fan but i will say that i hardly listen to it these days mainly because All rappers I've listened to have become mainstream and lost their touch and i don't have the time to be looking for good rappers anymore due to work etc.

All rappers become mainstream if they are good enough and frankly, when they become mainstream it seems like they no longer care as much about the quality of their music. Hell, even Eminem's new CD is just a little above average at best. I have yet to see an artist that is not affected by fame and maybe that day will never come.

No not really. It depends who and what you listen to.

Rap isn't my favorite, I prefer Electronic and Rock. But Rap can be powerful and expressive. You can't judge the whole genre based on trashy examples. You have to do your research and find the good artists out there.

If you listen to today's rappers sure you'll think like that, they all suck with few exceptions ( i.e Eminem) so that's why I stick with the 90's rap.
