Shukaku is a poorly written Biju

He is the only Biju without V1 and V2, he has a poor complex, and he added no power to his jin (current gaara> gaara jin)
I feel like this is due to him being a early biju but even back then naruto had V1.

I feel like he wasn't meant to be a biju but Kishi fell into a plot hole so he justified it. He's not like the others. He's just a ball of sand that would be better off as the "Beast of The Sand"

That's like saying if you take away current sasuke's dojustu then he shoud be stronger than hebi sasuke.

I like shukaku because he is made out of sand so a lot of physical attacks can't hurt him like the other bijuu... But I agree he was introduced in part 1... Thts bad call on Kishi part as he never developed it

First, It's Masashi Kishimoto, the bad writer who isn't putting enough panel time writing Shukaku's character. Second, Shukaku has a madman personality, and personally, I like it. Third, the sand along with the Magnet Release are the most unique Bijuu ability.​

It's not that he was poorly written it's that he's the weakest. The 1 tails has no chakra cloak because it only has one tail.
