I reach over to pick up the dropped training sword given to me by you, and i proceed to clinch the sword with both hands with my left hand on top of the hilt with the right under it. With the dummy being a few feet in front of me I step into the swing with my left foot and across a two handed horizontal slash through the dummy.

Good job - Though next time state where you hit the dummy :hint:

It's not that important, but, although not everyone follows the teachings of Kendo, it's almost always the case - regardless of which is your dominant hand - that the left hand is under the right on the hilt. You can think of the left almost as the root of your power when using both hands; Though, a true swordsman should train both sides equally and aim to be ambidextrous.

Now try a Two-Handed Vertical slash

Man kenjustu and Taijustu is my weakest point I now realize that. .-. Are you kazekage by any chance ?

I nod after the completion of your directions and information about kendo. I adjust my hands on the sword making my left hand under the right hand while holding on the the hilt. I take another step in but this time with the right foot(Just to get a feel for the differences) as i swing vertically landing on top of the shoulder leading down to its ribcage area. I think we need a new dummy.
