Shouldn't the Anime be used as facts?!?!

Thing is that while Kishimoto-sensei indeed gave his permission for the anime, most people only consider the manga as true facts because those come directly from Kishimoto-sensei himself. The anime has fillers and goes deeper into some scenes, but most people only accept manga as the cannon form because it's a bit easier to discuss then I suppose

^Ok but what if you don't read the manga and only watch the anime?
Are your points/opinions/discussions invalid coz you only have the anime as proof?
Just asking

TBH I believe it should stay separated because there will always be the argument "it was not written by the original person so it is not true" but I don't see why is shouldn't be discussed, as long as it doesn't conflict with the Manga. Also I don't see the problem with versus battles of cannon and non cannon characters either.

On a off note: some non cannon is accepted most of the time, for example in the Dragon Ball Z series there isn't really many people who have a problem with Broly.

Invalid ... Depends to who you are talking to I suspect. There are people who don't have a problem if someone only watches the anime and discusses with them, but there are also ones who don't think someone can deliver a good argument if they only watch the anime *shrugs* Depends on whether someone accepts the anime as well or not
