Should Zabuza be handicapped for part 1?

Granted the last 100 chapters or so saw the power scales jump beyond compare but do you guys think Zabuza is rightfully or wrongfully held back in people's opinions because of part 1?

I see a lot of people claiming characters that came in part 2 like some Akatsuki members and other new characters could beat Zabuza low-mid diff because he was beaten by a part 1 Naruto,Sasuke and Kakashi.

My question is do you think this is a fair reasoning or should power scaling be compensated with feats and hype? Zabuza is in no way weak but the comparison between what Kishi was showing then to now is like apple to oranges so people talk about Zabuza like he was weak. They ignore the fact he was a 7 swordsman and killed a whole years worth of chunin exam students before he was even technically a trained ninja.

What are your opinions on Zabuza? Has he been fairly ranked in people's opinions with the increase in power depiction?

I think he was strong as hell in my opinion though even bough some people say haku was stronger he was held back by him but so was Kakashi by Sasuke and Naruto I really wanted to see them go all out against each other

Nah, he's still beastly. He just had to go up against Kakashi who is well-seasoned in combat. In no way does that make him weak. He could definitely beat people like Iruka & genma.. Hoping that doesn't make him sound weak either lullz

He's not really that weak, if it wasn't for Naruto and Sasuke he'd have killed Kakashi. He was a part of the strongest generation of 7 swordsmen of the mist. He could beat a few of the Akatsuki like Deidara, Kakuzu, Konan and maybe Sasori.

Not really. Zabuza only captured Kakashi in his Suiron no Jutsu.
after Sasuke and Naruto released him. Kakashi defeated Zabuza

In the second fight in the bridge. Kakashi easily defeated Zabuza without any help.

They kill Zabuza in a second.

Deidara almost Killed and humiliated MS Kakashi in part 2 while he was fighting against Naruto + Team Gai

MS Kakashi after used his Kamui to absorb the explosion of a deidara's bushin and needed one month in a hospital.

Captured Gaara and almost destroyed the entire Suna.


Kakuzu almost killed Part 2 Kakashi too.
Humiliated him in Taijutsu and Ninjutsu.
Kakashi stated he would need to use Kamui against Kakuzu.
Without Shikamaru + Naruto + Yamato reinforcements. Kakuzu would kill Kakashi easily

Konan destroyed Tobi e obligated him to use Izanagi

Sasori killed the most powerfull KazeKage.

The only Akatsuki Zabuza can beat is Hidan.

I didn't see anything in seven swordsmen. They didn't fight in Manga.
All swordsman are easily sealed by alliance.
The only Kage level swordman is Kisame.

I wouldn't say he's akatsuki level but he's still pretty strong.there aren't a whole lot of non kkg/jin ninja who can defeat him
