I don’t think you understand that with everything you’ve said, the anime has already deviated away from the manga. The way the chunin exam invasion went was completely altered, dialogue and costume design included.
They're adding extended fights and more content, characters etc. because they can't really get on with the manga right now. I'm sure that they're going to animate the Mujina Bandits arc. soon enough, although we might have to wait until the end of the year or early 2019. SP is totally fine with the fillers at the moment, because they know that they can literally animate the whole manga in 3 months and that would be rather disappointing, because the follow up will be like 4-5 filler arcs AT LEAST. Oh, and I'm sure that we're getting the manga style movie-rehash. You know, Momo's manga form, manga fight, Karma seal and so on and so on. It will be nothing ike the movie once they enter the other dimension. So you can say that we're getting the first arc of the manga animated right now, but it's going slow, with extended fights and a lot of filler parts, because as I said, they are not in a hurry to wrap it up quickly. If they do that, then their only reasonable option is to put it on hiatus until the manga gets ahead of it, but that would mean the end of the series as people are totally going to give up on it.
