He should have been able to handle it, he has a form space time jutsu which Minato has as well and he managed to save Kakashi from 20 or so jonnins and finish them off. Beast kage handled 10,000(?) ninja's for 3 days and nights. The 2nd had a pathetic death.

yeah he should have just like summoned hashirama like old times and just wreaked havoc or if not just engulf the area in a water wall long enough for him and the rest to run away xd

umm those are 20 ELITE ninjas. imagine 20 kakashis and gais coming at you. plus kinkaku and ginkaku was there, both having the kyuubi chakra. i say most ninja would not last 10 seconds. but i remember it being said that tobirama put up a good fight.

Something just doesn't add up about Tobirama...he's connected to too many sketchy dealings and his death is just another red flag to me...though he's my favorite Kage of all..I can't be biased about it. I've been a member of the "Tobirama=Tobi or has some type of connection to Tobi" camp for some time now..stay tuned.

A (the raikage) himself admits if he gets rolling there will be no stopping him! A!!!!! The man that sucks up to no one that isnt OP!

It literally took there own weapon (that of the SAGE OF THE 6 PATH'S) to defeat him, ANd the smartest ninja in the army! There was no way in hell they could of defeated him otherwise with out naruto AND bee!

How the hell can any kage besides Hashirama, MAdara,Rinnegan users, or tobi (or kabuto) defeat 2 of them With 18 other kakashi level ninjas????????? And live??????????/

Then some say "he had s/t ninjutsu, he should have won", having s/t ninjutsu doesnt mean you win everytime...

Plus look at it like this.. If he would have escaped, they would have (the 20 elite bounty hunters).... WENT AFTER THE YOUNG ONES AND KILLED THEM!!!!!! You get it? The mission was suppose to stall so the others could escape. Thye new who ever did it wasnt going to survive!

i agree with the neji guy, there are so many factors that are uncertain and unknown that we just don't know if he's a big fail or super badass.

There were followed by 20 master bounty hunters. but they had several legendary shinobies with them (2nd hokage 3rd hokage/almost 6 Hokage/ an uchiha that probably was very strong Etc.

Two of the master bounty hunters were Kin/Gin, both extremely strong. But maybe not as strong as they were in the war, they maybe didn't have Kuramas chakra yet. as for the others, how do we know if they are really strong or just hype?

But i believe that they were super duper strong and would have utterly crushed almost anybody.

everyone keeps mentioning that they had saru and danzo and a sharingan user witht hem but u have to remember that they needed to complete the mission. if they stayed and killed the 20 ninja as a team, they wouldve failed the mission

Madara,hashirama,minato and the raikages ...i reckon tsuchikage + a few more < personally i think they could fit that list..guess dont count since my own personal thought
