I watched all the episodes up to date and I was thinking about reading the manga... should I start over from the beginning? or should I read from where I left off in the video?

Where you left off, definetly. Just be sure to know which episodes are filler and you will be fine.

Ya start reading from where you left off in the anime. But keep in mind that some things might become a little more clear if you read the corresponding manga chapters. Also, things you forgot about will be refreshed in your mind if you reread chunks of the manga. I started from where I left off in the anime, but have read around 150 of the other chapters in total and got some insight I never really noticed or didn't realize was important until I read it in the manga.
However, there are things in the anime that are more clear than in the manga. One example is the rock techs used by Oonoki and Akasuchi to escape Zetsu's spore jutsu at the summit. In the manga it was really brief but longer in the anime.
Bottom line, the anime may be better in some instances, but the manga is far greater in general and it is much MUCH easier to reference a scene/ battle by linking a manga chapter rather than linking an anime episode. So just read from where you left off in the anime but take some time to read some important sections from the manga like big battles or scenes of great importance. One example would be chapter 467 (I can remember it by heart) where tobi declares war on the 5 countries. But in general, don't waste your time starting from scratch.

If you have the time/interest read the whole thing...you may want to start where you left off from the anime and then go back to the beginning. I've read the entire manga at least 3 times now.

If you have spare time, it's nice to start from the beginning, it would also refresh everything that happened until now.. i mean you could start from 0 and be up to date in a couple of days, reading it is much faster than watching anime episodes...
If you don't care about this and just want to know what happens next, and skip all the fillers, then yea, just continue from where you left off the anime

I would suggest starting at the five kage summit, it's where all the country's finaly start to work together and that becomes realy important in the current manga capters. the summit starts at chapter 450. start from there and you will get all the important stuff that's happening at the moment.
oh, and just a last minute adition, if you have cought up to the latest chapter and you have the time it might be interesting/fun to read from the first chapters again up to the kage summit. the part with the sexy no jutsu still makes me laugh and a couple of details from the beginning do come back (but you get flashbacks in the current chapters if this is the case)

Pretty much if you have the time start from the beginning. I only started the Manga like 1/4 the way into Shippuden and by the time I knew it I was at work reading the original Naruto Manga. I used to look forward to episodes so much now I look forward to the Manga so much more, even when the Episodes are not fillers. Also I have read but I am not 100% positive that Kishi (writer/creator) doesn't put any or very little input into the Anime/Episodes and I think that is why I enjoy the Manga so much more cause you see that they left out stuff in the Episodes and last but certainly not least, this is the Manga section ;p......You really can't argue or post theories in here while simultaneously using the Anime/Episodes as your proof because NO ONE will take you seriously BECAUSE so much is left out of the Anime/Episodes and one can try to Infer/hypothesis/start to see things in a differently and/or in a different light more so from the Manga.

start where u stoped in the anime but after u catch up u could always go back to the start of the manga that what i did back in the day lol

I started the manga where the anime dropped off because i couldn't stand to wait to see the war. I haven't read any of the original naruto manga. It's up to you!
