Should i read or watch fairy tail?

But do read it, you'll get a good kick and find that there are several cool and interesting parts to the story

Its worth the read just dont expect anything great from it the anime i only watch specific episodes and its riddled with fillers

As someone that startend watching it right after the Naruto manga. I would say watch the anime. It had great music, good quality for fights even tho the quality of fights is something else... Many asspulls and plotshield for Natsu. Also there aren't many fillers in fairy tail and this is the first time that I know there is going to be a filler arc where I am now episode 217+. The only disappointing thing for me is that there is almost no gore the only one that showed 2 times blood through the anime was gray. No one else. When someone gets a nose bleed it is white. You know that kinda stuff but that kinda is changing in fairy tail 2014 so good luck.
