People are saying that Fairy Tail is a good manga that I should read. I'm more of an action/fighting kind of person when it comes to manga. Is Fairy Tail something I should read?

perhaps you should, but its your choice. and yes, Fairy tail is a kind of action-fighting manga that revolves with magic or such.
but, i hear their fighting style with the main character natsu is always like this O_O :
Main character fights > main character loses > main character power ups > Main character fights again > Main character wins.

fairy tail is like naruto and one piece but instead of ninjas and pirates, its mages (magicians). instead of ninjutsu and devil fruit abilites or haki its magic and spells.
also fairy tail has alot of *** appeal. its ecchi (google if you dont know). lots of crotch shots and boob shots of females. half naked females. some boob groping, ass spanking or those moments where a chick is going to be sexually assaulted. sooooo if your into that than i guess its a plus.
the females are hella strong though and even compete with the guys so dont get me wrong the females are not all "sakura" chicks. more like tsunades.
i recommend it. if you love naruto you will love fairy tail.

eh no prob. btw i very very recently just finally caught up to date with the series btw. i started off late like you did. i think i started 2 months ago and steadily i caught up and its one of my favorite mangas.
i recommend that you read the manga btw and not the anime. i have seen some of the anime and its full of fillers. its good though dont get me wrong, im just saying it has alot of non canon stuff thats not in the manga. im going to start watching the anime but im currently catching up on the OP and Naruto anime so i dont have much input on the fairy tail anime but the manga is great man.
