wouldn't making it for apple require you to buy the devkit or something? and get approved into the app store? and if it doesn't get approved "which it won't" it will require jail breaking.
so yea you want her to pay a 3 digit number out of her own money and learn xcode, just to make an app most NB members wouldn't ever use

oh and how exactly are you planning to make the app? you said you never made one before, what programming languages do you know?

a pool was a very nice option to do,in regards to that.i am a nokia user,and i have used it to search and view threads,making posts is somewhat hard to me...so if you did for nokia also i think i would use

If your creating an app just to navigate NB, Then I vote no. It's not the application layer of the client (your phone) to make the website mobile friendly. If you understand the OSI model and TCP IP stack, you'll know that it's the host (NB) that needs to make a mobile version of the website when it detects a communication from a mobile network. That way, it doesn't matter if your on a iPhone or Android.
