ok im a talented guy when it comes to art every school ive been to(even recieved an award) i was always the best artist but my parents hated when i drew they would always trash my drawings and stuff and they said it was a distraction and that artist dont make money in the real world and stuff like that so i stopped for like 4 years on an off(meaning when i wasnt around my family) but now im in college and I want to start again but ive found out that my skills have greatly diminished and it would be extremely difficult for me to start again......so i wanted to start all over doing something different from what i usually do so im trying to learn how to use adobe and tablets to draw but i dont know what to do should i just give up on drawing or should i try to draw more......

If drawing is something that you really want to do then do it. So what if your not as talented as you used to be. That just means you can improve upon your technique and see your drawings on a whole new scale. I know this because for a time I went through what your going through. I felt I wasn't good enough and I began to doubt myself. But then I meet an art teacher and he told me, "The only way to become comepletely defeated is to stop believing in yourself." I may only be 14 but I say those words to you. If you want to draw then do it my friend.
