What do you guys think?

I already know a few schools that are uniformed, but the one I go too isn't, so this idea really got to me. I personally prefer uniforms for a few reasons: You don't have to pick out what to wear each day, you can just wear your uniform, something over if needed and that's it. If you lose the uniform, you don't really have to look for it since you can buy a new one for the same price anyways, And it basically saves time overall.

Not too mention it can also fund the school greatly. :D

I personally found the idea cool, but of course everyone has their own opinion. :p

I think uniforms are for the better. :|
Kids aren't picked on for their clothes
No gang colors
Affordable
Easier to keep order.

Yes, especially females because they be lookin' fine as hell in a uniform. Uniforms in general is a good thing for families with low income or people who just want to save money BUT they should have days where students are allowed to wear whatever they want like once a month. (as long as it follows the school rules)

Well since I'm not in HS it doesn't matter, though I wouldn't have mind as long as I look nice and the ladies look really nice as well. ;)

Although I understand the favorable benefits of school uniforms I do not personally like the idea of school uniforms. Yes, they do help curb bullying amongst students. Yes, they do help curb gun violence as well. However I do feel uniforms also impede upon students civil liberties i.e. Freedom of expression. I also think uniforms encourage conformity in such a way that could impede creativity within our schools. Now with that being said, I think each school should decide wether or not to enforce a uniform policy. A conglomerate of the students, parents and board officials voting....

I've never liked uniforms since there's no room for individuality, but as long as people aren't forced to purchase them from the school, they probably prevent more problems than they create.
