So we get the backstory of Somas mom and dad which is disappointing how it's just thrown and wished it was fleshed out more. And combining the reveal that Asashi really is a Nakiri which the reveal did nothing for me would of preferred if she just offered him a job to work for them and that was that.
At this point its clear the author had to prematurely end it and would of preferred a timeskip epilogue. I'm sure we will get one last shokugeki match which I like and with Erina and Soma getting together in the end which is coming from the least unclimactic build ups so it won't be as exciting as I wished it to be.
