Remember sasuke vs naruto how sasuke could read his movements and started whoopin on naruto.

If anything sharingan makes for better taijutsu.

That is a fallacious assumption. The studio has done filler to later be proven wrong when Kishi actually writes the manga. Especially during this arc, where they are messed the the time frames. Another excellent example is Utakata, if by your logic filler is part of the story then Naruto would have recognized Utaka in the manga but he didnt. But we had a whole 5+ episodes of useless filler that had no impact or input in the main story. Try again.

Filler. For all we know in the manga Kishi could've had him being proficient in Taijutsu besides Genjutsu for all we know. Therefore it's kinda hard to get a good grasp on his "actual" style of fighting.

Not entirely true.. He knew who utakata was at their first encounter and in the mind of naruto with the bijuu he said "You already know who I am. "

Not to mention Raiga, a filler character at first, was included in a flashback in the manga.

Its the other way around no? The anime comes after the manga.

That was for the anime, because they had met on three occasions,
1. The filler
2. When he was edo tenseid Utakata entered Naruto's mind plane to talk to him (they talked about the events of the filler), then Utakata attacked him and bee with bubble jutsu.
3. When naruto encounter all the jinchuriki.
Those were all anime and filler. Not to mention in the video games the Studio takes in to consideration their previous filler meeting but only for the english translation. For the japanese release of storm 3 it was never mentioned they had a previous meeting, that applies to the raw Japanese version of the magna. You tried, I give you credit for that.
