I didn't watch naruto after that one guy with the two swords was defeated. It looked pointless; I just went to shippuden.

Yeah really, after Valley of the End, it goes to hell and the fillers are mostly funny but not really necessary to watch until Shippuden.(unless of course you're a die hard fan like myself.)
