(Kōton no Jutsu) Steel Release Technique
Rank: D
Type: Offensive/Defensive/Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points: 20
Description: Allows the user to, through the use of hand gestures, produce small objects, pillars, weapons, etc, made of black steel, from their body or from the earth. The constructs are as hard as a normal kunai and swords and can be thrown at a target physically.

The only D-rank and like most elements, just a jack-of-all-trades jutsu. Similar to the D-rank "(Doton no Jutsu) - Earth Release Technique" in versatility and general use.

(Kōton: Toami) Steel Release: Fish Net
Rank: C

Description: After 1 handseal (Bird), the user is able to produce a black steel net from his/her hands, which can be thrown towards the opponent to pin him to the ground.

Using the Bird seal, you can produce a steel net from your hands, tossing it like you would any large net towards your target. Due to the weight of the black steel, you'll be able to pin your opponent to the ground and possibly trap multiple if they are in close proximity to each other.

(Kōton: Suchīrushīrudo) Steel Release: Steel Shield
Type: Defensive/Supplementary/Offensive

Description: After performing the Bird → Horse handseals, the user will make their Kōton chakra form a shield made of a black steel that sticks to the user's forearm (either left or right forearm depends on the user). The shield is tall enough to hide from the user's eyes to his/her hip and it is hard enough to block all non chakra-infused ninja tools. the shield has the ability to block all regular swords but it can't break them. The is also strong enough to block all C-Ranked and weaker normal taijutsu techniques. The edges of the shield are very thin and sharp and the user is able to throw it as a giant shuriken to cut through the targets even through the trunks of large trees.

(Kōton: Kase) Steel Release: Shackles

Description: The user does 2 handseals (Bird+Ram) focusing chakra beneath the opponent, shaping the ground into several (up to 5) shackles that shoot up to grab the enemy. The shackles are linked to chains that remain connected to the ground. Once they grab the opponent, the user can clap his hands, forcefully pulling the shackles and chains to the ground, effectively pinning the opponent to the ground, restrained by the steel chains.

Along the same lines as the Earth Spike jutsu, instead you'll be channelling your Steel Chakra to create black-steel chains to rise up and shackle onto your opponent. The chains remain connected to the ground (that you must also be in contact with) and you may then clap your hands to pull the target towards the ground.

I'd liken this to the Bone Bullets of Kimmimaro (Ten Finger Drilling Bullets I think it's called), though in this case you can release up to 12 bullets, from any part of your body.

The rods will form a prison around the target, connecting to each other beneath the ground. As soon as all the pillars have risen, which is very fast, their extremities spawn more pillars as well as their sides. As the pillars multiply, they connect to each other, forming an almost perfect prison cell, closed on all sides.

Most steel jutsu are similar to earth jutsu and mirror the same effects. This jutsu is a stronger version of "(Doton: Ganchūrō no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Rock Pillar Prison Technique" and creates a more traditional prison-style bars around your target(s).

(Kōton: Uroku Hei) Steel Release: Scaled Wall

This was one of the original 'canon' techs as it was the one we saw Hiruko use in one of the Movies... can't recall which one it was though. Basically turns the specific part of your body into black steel, for defensive purposes mainly. You'd have to be creative to find the combo's for this one, though I'm sure they exist
Since Taijutsu it weak to elemental releases, this can defend against A-rank and lower taijutsu, as this tech is B-ranked.

(Kōton: Harinezumi) - Steel Release: Hedgehog
Type: Offensive

Description: The user will perform the Bird handseal whilst kneading chakra. From along the user's body, dozens of steel needles will emerge from wherever is preferred and launch towards a target. Each needle is roughly 7cm in length and boasts decent penetrative force.

Instead of bullets like the Bullet Swarm technique, you'll create senbon from any part of your body to release them in greater number. These senbon don't have great stopping power, but they will easily pierce through most targets and defences.

(Kōton: Hebikēburu) - Steel Release: Snake Cable

Description: The user will make a whip of steel and hold it with both hands. The whip is 2m in length and ends with a snake head-like figure. By using chakra to manipulate the whip, the user will make it move as if it were a real snake and bite the target with its "fangs." The cable is able to conduct electricity to shock the bitten target, once the user starts using a suitable Raiton technique to make lightning.

Creates a flexible steel whip, with a stylised Snake head and fangs at the tip. Current-like lightning jutsu (such as Nagashi) are able to be channelled through the whip towards your target. I would even reason that "(Chō Biburāto Raitontō) - Super Vibrating Lightning Release Sword" could be channelled through this to give the whip a cutting ability and damage boost.

1) You're exactly right. That is what it's called. Ten Finger Drilling Bullets; so I already have an understanding of this one. No questions.

2) Indeed. Just the Steel version of Earth Spikes, or most Spike - Jutsu.

3) Earth, Bone, Steel, some Waters...all have similarities between them all when it comes to jutsu like this. No questions.

4) Got it.

5) If Kaguyas like myself have found ways to make combinations with Dance of the Larch, there is definitely combinations to that one, lol.

6) Sonic, he's number one; sonic, he's on the run, sonic, he's coming next, so watch out....for Sonic X! Oh, I'm sorry again....that's just immediately what I thought of when I saw Hedgehog. Creative jutsu indeed. No questions.

7) I would reason that myself. It does say "The cable is able to conduct electricity to shock the bitten target, once the user starts using a suitable Raiton technique to make lightning," so if Nagashi is a logical boost, then why not Super Vibrating Lightning?

Grants you the option of a fair and just, Jousting match if you so wish. Just note that while the lance is still around your arm, you can not use hand seals for obvious reasons.

(Kōton: Sassou Kishi) Steel Release: Gallant Knight

The Knight can use Taijutsu/Kenjutsu and Kōton up to B rank and can stay on the field as long as the user spends chakra to sustain it. Only 2 Knights can be on the field at any given time and each use of the technique only creates one.

The elemental clone for Steel Release. Only able to use Taijutsu/Kenjutsu and Steel release techs up to B-rank. A little downside to this jutsu is that it only creates one clone per use of this tech, while also only allowing you to have two of these clones on the field.

(Kyosei Kōton no Jutsu) - Greater Steel Release Technique

Description:
forming the hand seals Tiger → Hare → Rat → Dog → Horse, the user coats their arm in metal and creates a piston-like attachment around it. When used as a taijutsu measure, the user can punch the opponent with the end of the piston and use their chakra to force their fist into the piston and hit the target with a second, harder impact. Also, if the user hits the ground with the piston, the second blow and can cause a mini-quake that can result in tremendous damage to the surrounding area. However, the piston is usually very heavy, so caution and precise timing must be used when utilizing the piston.
Notes:
- While the piston is active, the user is unable to perform any handseals.
- Can only be used twice per-match.
- Must wait three turns before you use it again.
- Can only be worn for two turns due to how heavy the piston is.

Grants you the ability to strike your target or ground with the force of a speeding truck xD In taijutsu, it'll deal the damage of the taijutsu + the damage of this jutsu, if you manage to hit with the piston. Essentially, the combination creates a gap in the Time Frame that could allow your opponent to counter. I'm lead to believe the ground breaking feats of this jutsu are more versatile and excellent against those whom rely on speed and/or close combat.

2) Figured this was in there somewhere. Guess you gotta have some limitations for a steel clone to work.

S rank

(Kōton: Ikka no Isshi) Steel Release: House of Strings
Rank: S
Type: Offensive
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 40
Damage Points: 80
Description: After 3 handseals (Boar+Bird+Horse), the user will create two great pillars of black steel, parallel to each other, and 5 meters apart. Almost invisible to the naked eye, are a myriad of thin, sharp steel strings that connect both pillars. The user will then launch both pillars in any direction, ripping the ground at their passage, with great speed. If anything stands on the path of strings, it gets sliced clean, including the opponent. The strings follow the element's weakness and strength on what they can or cannot cut. The pillars go back into the earth after they reach the range limit, and cannot change direction once in motion.

This jutsu has the potential for some gruesome endings .__.

Connecting the two pillars to each other, are thing wires so fine that they cannot be directly perceived by the naked eye. These wires are razor sharp and coupled with the directional speed you'll move the pillars in, will cleanly slice through just about anything.

These pillars emerge from the ground and can only travel along the ground. Once sent off in the direction of your choice, they cannot alter course and will naturally return to the earth at the end of their range (mid-range max.).

(Kōton: Kujo no Tama) Steel Release: Demolition Ball
Rank: S
Type: Offensive
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 40
Damage Points: 80
Description: After 2 handseals (Bird+Monkey), the user is able shoot a steel chain from any point in the ground. Attached to the tip of the chain is a small ball of black steel, and moves at the speed of an arrow. After its shot, the small ball of steel increases in size to become a devastating 2 meter in diameter wrecking ball. The steel chain is kept connected to the ground but cannot be used to control the direction the ball is taking. The weight of the ball is roughly 20 times that of a normal ninja.

Similar to the Shackling jutsu we covered earlier, this jutsu releases one chain with a steel ball at the leading point. Once it emerges from the ground, it will rapidly grow in size as it launches towards your target. This has great physical impact and thus is very difficult to directly stop/block.

1) Oooh. Sounds....delightfully gruesome. And here I was thinking Bone by itself was deadly....but this.....-shink- lol No questions; shame it only goes up to mid range though.

2) I CAME IN LIKE A.....WRECKKKING BALLL (sorry, sorry, I used to hate that song for the longest time because of the music video but it just fits so well for this jutsu). I mean aside from that it reminds me of Master Kohga's main attack from LoZ: BotW....but far far deadlier. If Kohga had anything like this in the game, the boss fight there would have been so much harder....though getting through the Yiga Clan Hideout was hard enough ><....but aside from that drabble, pretty straightforward.

Overall, I find Steel to be EXTREMELY similar to Bone/Earth in its potential to cause destruction and creation...and since Kaguya bones are already hard enough...adding steel to them only...yesh. It makes sense that a bunch are similar to earth as earth is a base element for steel, though.

-looks over entire list one more time just to make sure I have no questions- Nope...they're all pretty straightforward and easy to understand.
