Chapter 2: Awakening of the Burning Soul
A previous Satoru member's variation of the immensely rare Burning Soul:
*Setting- A field in Konoha- Shinsuke's training- 1 weeks into the time between the final exam and the previous exam*
Shinsuke *in head*: I need to be able to enter "that" state willingly if I have a chance of becoming a Chuunin and defeating Itachi and the others. That Sharingan of his is extremely powerful. If i'm not careful, I could fall into his genjutsu. I don't know about the other team's strength.
*Shinsuke concentrates very hard and tries extremely hard to get into the state. He remembers that a seal had appeared on his hand, he tries to concentrate, mold and focus chakra to his hand and try to form the seal. The seal, slowly begins to appear but then fades. For a slight second, without him noticing, his mysterious Kekkei Genkai begins to appear. He tries a lot harder. The seal appears and he manages to enter the lesser Kenjin state which he had been in before. He soon turns back to normal. He keeps trying for a few days and eventually manages to sustain this state for a moderate amount of time. He realizes he has depleted a big amount of chakra and is extremely tired and decides to go to rest.
*Jiraiya is passing by and observes Shinsuke training for a while and remembers the legends about the Kenjin state and wonders if this is it. He also remembers that Shinsuke is part of the Satoru clan. He thinks about his friend who was also from the Satoru.*
*The Final Exam in the Chuunin Exams, in Arena (like in Naruto, where Naruto fought Neji)*
Shinsuke: I am ready for this!
Takao: Me too... This is going to be hard though!
Kiharu: Remember our plan!
*Itachi's team discussing*: Do you think we can defeat Shinsuke? Shinsuke and two Byakugan users is quite a bit to defeat isn't it?
Itachi: We can do this!
A group of people in the audience: Team vs Team eh? This is going to be interesting! An Uchiha vs Hyuga... and that Satoru kid? He seems to be Itachi's equal. Who would you lot bet on?
Group member: I would bet on the Uchiha kid, Itachi's team.
Group member: I would bet on the Satoru Kid's team.
Group member: I would bet on the other team. Who knows, maybe they're quite good...
Jiraiya *in audience*: Hmmm... Lets see the extent of his power over the Kenjin state.
Third Hokage: This is going to be interesting...
*The three teams enter arena*
Proctor: Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Shinsuke *Throws Kunai at third team to distract them and uses the Fire Style: Phoenix Flower Jutsu to get them*.
*The third team attempts to make a handsigns for a jutsu, but don't manage to finish before Takao and Kiharu finish the handsigns for their jutsu, which they were doing during Shinsuke's attack.*
Takao and Kiharu *uses their chakra and combine it to make a powerful earth prison*: Earth Release: Solid Earth Prison Jutsu!
*The Third Team is trapped*
*Kiharu runs to the earth prison and adds her chakra to it, keeping it extremely hard. She maintains her position, while Shinsuke and Takao converge on Itachi, Kiryu and Aki.
Takao *is accidentally caught in Itachi's genjutsu without realising it*: Lightning Release: Lightning Crush.
*Uses it on himself under the genjutsu*
*Awakens himself from genjutsu*
Takao: Aaargh
*Takao is badly injured*
Shinsuke *activates Kenjin state and accidentally activates Burning Soul (but it isn't visible due to the dragon mark being under his shirt)*: How about one on one, Itachi?
Takao *while Itachi is not aiming for him*: Lightning Dome Jutsu!
*Kiryu and Aki are trapped, they attempt to get out, but are injured by the thunder.*
*Takao goes to help Kiharu*
*Shinsuke brings out his sword and attacks Itachi, who brings out his sword*
Itachi: Sharingan!
*Shinsuke attempts a genjutsu on Itachi, but it is easily countered.*
*They start having a sword duel, they constantly manage to counter each others sword techniques, Itachi streams chakra into his sword and Shinsuke uses his Kenjin chakra to use a technique which shoots purple laser-like blasts at Itachi who easily dodges it, Shinsuke absorbs the sword's power and returns the sword to his chakra seal and his Kenjin state is empowered.
Itachi: Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!
*Shinsuke dodges the fire ball with his additional-speed*
*Shinsuke makes shadow clones to surround Itachi and appears behind him before Itachi can react*
Itachi: Substitution Jutsu!
Shinsuke: You're not going to get away that easily!
Shinsuke: Shadow Clone Jutsu!
*Shadow clones appear around the arena*
*Shinsuke appears behind Itachi, Itachi realizes and manages a strike on Shinsuke. They then start a taijutsu fight.*
*Itachi quickly makes a few shadow clones and uses the Fire Ball jutsu on Shinsuke, resulting in Shinsuke getting burned*
Shinsuke: Aaaargh
*Shinsuke falls down and nearly loses focus, which could have taken him out of the Kenjin state, but Burning Soul's power somehow maintains the state*
*Shinsuke's chakra shroud increases in size and fierceness and he gains three tomoe symbols on his cheek, they start to glow purple and his sword becomes larger.*
*Shinsuke races to Itachi and gets him with a powerful punch, resulting in Itachi flying a long distance at a high speed and banging against the edge of the arena and then falling down.*
*A few of Shinsuke's shadow clones race to Itachi and secure him.*
*The third team finally works out how to break out of the prison and Takao and Kiharu manage to knock them out with a collaboration Gentle Fist jutsu (A jutsu similiar to the Empty Palm, which is done by Takao and Kiharu and crushes the opponent, which are then knocked out with an eight Trigrams jutsu).*
Proctor: Shinsuke's team win!
Jiraiya *in audience*: Itachi and Shinsuke's teams will probably become Chunin...
Proctor: The results (who became chuunin) will be shown tomorow, and read out by the Hokage!
*Setting- Day after- In the place where the results are read out*
Third Hokage: The ninja who became Chunin are! ... Itachi Uchiha! ...Takao Hyuga! ... Kiharu Hyuga! ...Hoku Kyuhoshi! ...Isshin Yusuke! ... Kanzaku Tyusori! ...Aki! ... Shinsuke Satoru! ... and Kiryu!
I am proud to say, that all ninja who were on the final round have passed!

i'm thinking of changing it to a more story type thing.
