ye, no doubt. Aburame clan's have great tacktical edge over puppeteers, but can't decide who's gonna win that match, are they comin unprepared, just for some reason bumps to each other or..`?

Sasori could just use himself even if he can't use other puppets, he can just use that poison rope thingy and impale shino, unless he has the antidote or in the last 3 years he got insects that can nutrilize poison I think sasori would win.

Sasori is too powerful for Shinoi to take by himself. I know he has multiple insects at his disposal but the fact is Sasori's multiple puppets and his attacks are too much for Shino to handle alone. Pair with Chiyo instead of Sakura they could've taken Sasori down much sooner maybe, or even pair him with another skilled Aburame like his father maybe.
Shino is not underrated his position is just not emphisized because he's not a major protagonist or antagonist. I believe Shino is jounin level and should've been promoted to such level along with Neji over the time skip (although I don't see Shino beating Neji). Anyway back on topic, Shino is strong but he needs help when dealing with a Sasori, even give him Kankuro, at the time when he was beaten rather easily by Sasori at the time. Kankuro being a puppet user could cover and Shino could stratigize.

No doubt Sasori of the red sand will defeat shino aburame. . .sasori could use his fire style and water to cut shino up . . .shino aiont that great . . .even the 3rd kazekage puppet will kill shino with the iron sand techniques

Sasori is an S level ninja no rookie except Naruto and Sasuke or maybe Sai and Neji could match an S level ninja, especially not one from the Akatsuki, at least not without a very well thought out plan and A LOT of preparing
the Rookies are good but they are not S level good most arent even Jounin good, they only looked good because of the fights they have been in and those opponents were nowhere near S level Akatsuki

Its nt the level shinobi, it the ability of the shinobi. Can we recall the fight over by the three tails lake? Can we recall how long it took shino bugs to become immune to gurens crystals by absorbing them and determine the weakness, same can be done with sasori poison. Shino is very gud at adapting to certain environment. So plz don't underestimate him. Besides he is an all range offensive fighter! Let's not forget that
