Shino underrated?

I know this fan fiction,but i believe shino and his clan are very deadly. Shino can easily summon insect like mosquito to transmit lethal diseases (for example malaria or kimmimaro and itachi illness) to different villages and cause deaths.
In addition,how will the enemy know if the insect are carrying these diseases.The uchiha clan can not see the disease or the senser will not know the chakra nature of the diseases

@bold- They don't need to know. All the higher-level opponents going against the Aburame clan would just avoid the insects entirely and never get bit.

You are not going to dodge every insect in a swarm. Ninja or no, just not happening. All it takes is one, Aburame doesn't even have to be present. Breed insects to want a particular type of chakra that an enemy has and then send them with a scouting team, instincts does the rest, and while the enemy is dodging fireballs and rocks slides and who knows what else they wont bother worrying about another insect in the world.

Shino and their clan are Vastly underrated. The potential is there but the writer has not utilized them.

I actually agree. I believe his smarts should be almost on par with Shikamaru's. At least that's the way I saw Kishi portraying him at the beginning of Naruto.

yup and as far as i remember it was used back in the sasori arc, so many medical ninjas wud be able to use it now.

At bold: Exactly, Shino and his clan's hidden jutsus are extremely deadly and useful battle-wise. Kishi had many occasions to show more of them, but he decided not to, he even decided that Shino must be the only left-out when the boys were pursuing Sasuke.

Yes. His wits is almost on par with shikamaru's, I heard that Kishi stated something of that sort in one of his interviews, if I recall right.
