well i recon shikamru would beat shino but dont go assumin i recon shino is weak he isnt i jsut recon shikamaru is the 2nd strongest in his generation under naruto in the leaf

he knows how to use the weapons he has in the right way.........

Thats what im saying. shikamaru has smarts sure but he does not have the power to beat shino. right from the beggining of the battle shika would lose because shino would implant a female beatle on shika. onche that happens its game over.

I dont mean to say shikamaru sucks (because he is one of my favs) but shino is also another strtagist plus if shino wanted to he could intentianaly get one of his insects caught in the shadow possesion jutsu breed it so they are immune and put them in his body so they can dispell the jutsu if shikamaru tried it, and there is the battle because being immune to shikamarus shadow jutsu is almost like being immune to shikamaru.

i couldn't help but literally lol when i read that last line struke me as funny, being immune to shikamaru's shadow jutsu is almost like being immune to shikamaru

Shino would win. Even if Shikamaru would catch him in the Shadows, Shino would just use his bugs to attack him.

I can say, that Shino is even stronger than Neji. The only way for Neji to deflect Shino's bugs is Kaiten, but Neji can't use it forever, and Shino could just wait with his bugs until Neji's Chakra runs out.

And I agree, Shino is probably stronger. He´s not as smart as Shikamaru but he´s definately up there and his combat tactics, in my opinion, surpass the ones Shikamaru possesses.

Shino doesn´t need other ninjas to help him at most times since he has the bugs.
Shikamaru trully shines whenever other ninjas are around him to follow his lead, so 1v1 against Shino would mean defeat, or rather, he would just quit.
