I see the pillar forming and you exerting chakra on the ground, and I calculate it being an Earth attack, so I quickly make one handseal, to create a shadow clone which takes the hits for me and merge with the ground, evading both of your attacks before they hit.

Using my Byakugan, I can see you exerting chakra and covering yourself in stone, so instead of coming up directly behind you, I go to long-range, as I can see the Kaiten too.
