just watched episode 5th of the series, been trying to save it so that i could watch the whole series after the season completed, but due to all this hype i lost my patience and watched it..

so i have a question(i dont read the manga and dont want to read it) seems like eren had his hand and legs split up and was swallowed by the titan.
is he really dead or what??
i know alot of people in here read the manga, so please tell is he really dead, how does he survive??
i hate to think that he is already dead !!
