It is a hard question because in the story the Uchiha's in the generation, if hypothetically survived, would arise even stronger because of their /loss/ and would finish the job. Though kiling off each one always disgusted me.. Never liked that subject much

I feel like I'm repeating myself but are you really are comparing this world to NV? Killing is what ninja do. The shinobi world is a system that promotes safeguarding one's village through killing others deemed as a threat to one's existence. Those that do die are seen as hero's and the killers are also hero's. I don't know what characters you admire but you can't tell me that there are exceptions! Your precious Naruto as a kid was prepared to go into the forest of death and kill his opponents to earn himself the title of chunin. They were all told the rules before entering the place yet still did anyway.



Regardless of what you may think of him, one undeniable fact is that danzo was an instrumental for Konoha's security. His actions have been important. So I'd rather discuss him than Sakura and hinata all day.

They're not peacefully arresting the Uchiha Clan elite, they're the police force after all. If one or two went missing, fairly certain the others would try their damndest to get'em back and or just exasperate the situation. It's like saying the Uchiha clan could just kidnap/hold the Hokage and Elders hostage and demand the village gives them more political power.

Even if they didn't attack right away, you really think the situation would improve? The Uchiha are still pariah of the village, and now their leaders are being arrested and detained as they're seemingly powerless. To the cornered Uchiha clan who's already resorting to civil war, how is this a good course of action in your head?

What Danzō does isn't right, morally. Just like how the Chunin Exams aren't right, morally. But guess what, it's necessary for the world they live in.
