Danzo acted with good intentions despite the power lust. At least he didn't go on a killing spree. Btw he only revived those killed in konoha invasion. Anyway Danzo too was remorseful. His actions were not half as bad

Don't be so black and white. This is fiction. Hardly anyone in NV is morally 100% upright. A lot of them are a product of the shinobi system. Itachi and Oro are prime examples.

Let see He took kids from orphanages brainwash them to only love and obey Him and not the village or the Hokage the rightful ruler of the village and He strip the children of their emotion(Sai) and made them fight to the death against each other same as the Nazi SS Troopers of Hitler. I have one little thing to say in his defence (call me a fanboy if you will); I think that during Pain's invasion, Danzo was completely forgotten. By Kishimoto. If Danzo didn't push for the final solution, the Uchiha would of caused greater damage to Konoha. By the end of it, who knows how many innocents would of been drawn into it?

^ All who would of died. People trying to defend their home and those just caught in it. Maybe some of the Uchiha children would of been left alive, and the elderly too. Maybe. The Uchiha were too set on their goal. It would of weakened Konoha in a time of political instability, just a year or two past when the Raikage's blamed Konoha for the death of their ambassador and the Hyuga crisis, and still just out of the last war. Not to mention those who died in the Kyuubi's attack. Konoha could literally not afford this.

What Danzo didn't wasn't morally good. It was the best response in a tense situation.

Great analysis. As much as I dislike Danzo's approach to peace, there is no hiding that he is one of the best written characters in NV. He has moved the plot forward and made it interesting countless times.
