Tell me about Shikotsumyaku and the associated bloodline traits that come with it.

We'll cover that quick then move onto the annoyingly repetitive canon list of techniques, grouped by type and rank.

Tell me about Shikotsumyaku and the associated bloodline traits that come with it.

We'll cover that quick then move onto the annoyingly repetitive canon list of techniques, grouped by type and rank.
Shikotsumyaku is a Kekkei Genkai used primarily within the Kaguya Clan. Giving users a great degree of physiological control of their skeletons and bodies at large, Shikotsumyaku users are able to manipulate their bodies to perform superhuman feats. By taking control of their body's osteoclasts and osteoblasts through chakra, the users of this bloodline trait are able to manipulate the growth and formation of their bone matrix and skeletal system as a whole. For instance, Kimmimaro was able to manipulate calcium deposits in his skeleton in order to grow weapons and tools from his body and skeleton at will. Moreover, by manipulating their skeletons and imbuing them with chakra, users of this KG are able to harden them and increase their density. By doing so, the offensive and defensive potential of the user's attacks increase greatly. This is one of the reasons that users of this ability gain certain passives, and are generally harder to hurt, while also having somewhat of an increased 'healing' rate. Since most of the bones protrude from the skeleton, and body as a whole, the user's skin/tissue/etc tends to heal as the techniques are used. As a byproduct, since users of this Kekkei Genkai become so used to pain, using it as a way to break genjutsu becomes impossible. Primarily, this KG is used in close quarters, to supplement the user's taijutsu movements, attacks, and defenses. Since taijutsu techniques are *literally* 'body techniques', the Shikotsumyaku is considered one of the highest forms of taijutsu. In regards to the associated bloodline traits that come with it, perhaps you're referring to the more powerful 'ash-killing bone technique' that Kaguya uses? Honestly, I'm not sure on exactly how this works, but I believe it's quite similar to the Shikotsumyaku. By manipulating her skeletal structure, Kaguya Otsutsuki was able to utilize bones in the same way that users of the Shikotsumyaku are. The only difference being in that Kaguya's attacks would cause you to turn into crushed dorito dust for some reason if they landed. I'm not sure why exactly, I don't remember it being explained in the series, though I could be wrong. I believe Kaguya is the only character able to use this ability anyways though so lmao. Overall though, the Shikotsumyaku is a versatile and powerful ability that I'm excited to learn more about! :D

( Yanagi no Mai ) - Dance of the Willow
Type: Offensive
Rank: C
Range: Short
Chakra: 15
Damage: 30
Description: Dance of the Willow is the first of five Kaguya dance forms. Using the ability to manipulate bone structure, the user quickly grows a forearm bone through the palm of each hand to form stabbing instruments and impale their opponents. After stabbing them, they can leave the bones in as spikes or they can allow it to retract.

( Tsubaki no Mai ) - Dance of the Camellia
Type: Offensive
Rank: C
Range: Short
Chakra: 15
Damage: 30
Description: Dance of the Camellia is the second of the five Kaguya dance forms. Using the ability to manipulate bone structure, the user removes a long bone in the form of a sword from their shoulder. Because of the bloodline, the density of the bone can be increased many times so that it is as hard as steel. The user can pull up to two swords out, both with full strength.

( Teshi Sendan ) - Ten Finger Drilling Bullets
Type: Offensive
Rank: C
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra: 15
Damage: 30
Description: The user fires their fingertip bones at the opponent with bullet like speed. As the bones fly through the air, they will rotate and drill into their target once they make contact. Because of the Kaguya Clan's fast regenerative abilities, the rate of fire from and supply of bones can become limitless.

( Hone Senbon Rendan ) - Bone Needle Barrage
Type: Offensive
Rank: C
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra: 15
Damage: 30
Description: Similar to Ten Finger Drilling Bullets, the user is able to fire several large bone needles from their arms which are harder than steel. Because of the Kaguya Clan's fast regenerative abilities, the rate of fire from and supply of bones can become limitless.

First four of the C-Ranks. Just give me a short analysis and ask any questions you may have. Almost all Kaguya techniques are on this level of complexity (essentially 0).

All of these techniques are, like you said, pretty simple and standard. The first is simply causing the bones in your fore arms to grow out through your palms in order to stab the opponent through their torso, and to then either leave them in, or extract them. The next technique is quite similar, except that the bone that you withdraw is an actual sword. This sword is extremely dense, and is harder than steel. The latter two techniques are similar, projectile techniques that are fired at the opponent from your hands to deal impact damage on your opponent from a range.

( Hone Yari ) - Bone Spear
Type: Offensive
Rank: C
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra: 15
Damage: 30

First is nice, because it's a "**** out my face" type jutsu and also has a nice benefit of being a full body surge. Second is literally just a spear you make through your bones lmao. Third is basically the same thing as the second, but in the form of several smaller projectiles instead of just a single larger one.

That's pretty much it. Aight now you on B-ranks

( Karamatsu no Mai ) - Dance of the Larch
Type: Offensive
Rank: B
Range: Short
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40
Description: Karamatsu no Mai is the third of the five Kaguya dance forms. The user creates a mass of razor-sharp bone spikes all over their body. The user can grow these bones at an extremely rapid rate so they can stab an opponent even as the bones are growing. Since the bones are harder than steel, they can be used defensively to block or trap an opponent's strikes.
This technique is a great surprise attack and it makes the user basically untouchable at close range. When an opponent is close to the user, they spin very fast, rapidly slashing the foe in multiple areas of their body.

( Asami no Mai ) – Dance of the Beautiful Linen
Type: Offensive
Rank: B
Range: Short
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40
Description: The user slices upward with a sword made of bone and then extends his bones from their back high into the sky, piercing the foe with great accuracy and force before quickly retracting.

( Sawara no Mai ) – Dance of the Cypress
Type: Offensive
Rank: B
Range: Short
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40
Description: The user repeatedly attacks the enemy, alternating attacks between their sword and bone grown from their knee.

The first is essentially the same as bone rage, just more powerful. The second is a combo attack, though tbh I can't really imagine myself using something so oddly specific lmao. And the last is another combo attack, this time alternating between knees and swords.

These techniques are basically similar to the others. The first is just another attack using the bone sword, Second is pretty cool since it causes bone spikes to emerge from the ground, third one is nice as well since it comes from two directions

Okay, these are simple. The bone wings allow you to fly and avoid techniques whilst simultaneously attacking, the bone tentacles can attack people trying to sneak up on you. The vine is kinda cool since unlike the vast majority of these jutsu, it gives u a lot of flexibility. Also, can u imagine how I’ll be able to arch my back without a spine? Fourth is just another spear, and the last tech is highly specific and weird lol.

LMAOOOO You legit gotta slice their knee with this. And you gotta do it acrobatically. No choice in the matter. A lot of these are weirdly specific. You outta pocket for that one comment.

Why you think I picked Hamura over Hago ???

The first three are just oddly specific combos lol. The fourth one can be used in place of the vast majority of these techniques. The fifth is cool, but it’s basically a white earth spike with different S/Ws.

I feel like a lot of these were made just by watching the fight and taking the random freeform shit Kimmimaro did and describing them as techniques.

( Inperiaru Hone Sousou ) - Imperial Bone Burial
Type: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 35
Damage Points: 60
Description: By slamming both palms on the ground, the user forms a large amount of bone to begin wrapping around the targets as bones rise from beneath them. The technique covers a wide radius of effect, enough to wrap and crush numerous targets within short range, leaving a giant cone shaped cluster of bone in the center of a large crater.

( Hone Ya ) - Bone Arrow
Type: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short - Long
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Description: The user extends either arm at his target and fires a giant bone arrow with incredible force torwards their target. The arrow's trajectory and movements can be further manipulated by a thin bone thread which remains attached to the user's arm for the manipulation to occur.

( Hone Doragon ) - Bone Dragon
Type: Offensive/Supplementary
Rank: A
Range: Short - Long
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Description: The user manipulates his Shikotsuyamku technique to an advanced state in which they produce a bone dragon from their body itself which can be used to bind opponents near them or at a distance once it's sent towards them. Using further manipulation, bone spikes can grow from the Dragon's body to pierce the enemy or can be shot from its mouth. The Dragon is no larger then the user's own size.

( Sawarabi no Mai ) - Dance of the Young Ferns
Type: Offensive
Rank: S
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 45
Damage Points: 80
Description: Sawarabi no Mai is the fifth and last of the five Kaguya dance forms. The user causes a giant forest of tall sharp bone spikes to burst up from the ground covering the entire field. While active, the user can merge themselves into the bone trees at will to attack their target from whichever spike they want.

( Hone Kangoku ) - Bone Prison
Type: Offensive/Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 40
Damage Points: 80
Description: The user places their hand against the ground to form a dome made of steel hard bone to surround and trap the target in. The dome can be further manipulated to then shoot bone spikes from the inside of the dome, covering any angle within.

IMO we finally in the good ones, so I'ma let that sus slide

Wow chris was not lying when he said some of these are literally just sand jutsus with bones LMAOOO. I’m pretty sure that first jutsu is just word for word from the sand list ?. Second is pretty basic, just a manipulated arrow. Bone dragon is pretty cool, I didn’t know u could make these types of techniques with this KG. I wonder how this would even look visually in the series lol. The ferns jutsu is hella nice for evasion, stealth, and attack. Last jutsu is nice as well, effectively impossible to avoid. Imma boost the shit outta this one and use it first turn against ppl

It's DEADASS a jutsu from the sand list, I remember this shit. They really took the shit from the dude that tried to kill Kimmimaro and tried to make jutsu from it lmao Aight these the last two

( Nibai Hone Doragon ) - Double Bone Dragon
Type: Offensive/Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: Short - Long
Chakra Cost: 40
Damage Points: 80
Description: An advanced form of the it's A ranked parent technique. The user will release two bone Dragons which can bind the enemy and using further manipulation, bone spikes can grow from the Dragon's body to pierce the enemy or can be shot from its mouth. These dragons are notable larger than the parent technique, twice the size. The vital difference between these jutsu is the number of Dragon's made.
Note: Can only be used twice.

( Hone Tento ) - Bone Tent
Type: Offensive/Defensive
Rank: S
Range: Short
Chakra Point: 40
Damage Points: 80
Description: The user stomps the ground, making some of the strongest bones in his body to come out 360 degrees around him, forming a tipi made of bones. This gives the user 360 degrees protection against S Rank attacks or weaker. The tent can be used to trap the opponent, making them suffocate, however it is not as strong on the inside as on the outside, capable of being destroyed by A ranks from the inside if the element is strong to Bones. The user can cancel this tech at will as well, though it does not give protection against attacks that come from underground. Lasts up to two turns before the trapped target passes out.

The last jutsu doesn’t make any sense, it says it’s weaker than the front but the example it provides would also destroy the front? The first is basically just the same as the original bone dragon but with two.

Nah it's saying it can be destroyed from the inside by A-ranks but the outside can take S-ranks. The former comes into play when you use it on the opponent, which is what I think that last line is supposed to be implying, but nothing else in the jutsu says it can be used that way and the range is short so idk what the **** this shit on. Gotta talk to Pekoms about fixing this. Other than that, you got it
