In the Chuunin Exams, the tournament Shikamaru lost to temari, when he gave up cause he was out of chakra, i'm sure we all remember
What i'm thinking is, Shikamaru vs Temari, if Kankuro and Shino decided to fight.
As we see during their fight, shikamaru retreats for a few moments to thing of a strategy and to also let the sun set a little more in order to cast larger shadows of the arena walls, so if Kankuro and Shino had fought their fight more time would've passed, leaving Shikamaru more shadows to play with making his battle easier for him, so i think if this had been the case Shikamaru would have beat Temari given that he doesn't give up cause he's too lazy :noc:

I think it would have ended about the same, shino and kankuros fight wouldnt last very long most likely, so he might have had more shadow but the end result wuld have been he same

Makes good sense. Yeah Shikamaru would have beat Temari

UNLESS Shino and Kankuro put up an epic 5 hour fight, at which point it'd be night time and Shikamaru would have no chance xd

Shikamaru outsmarted Temari. He had her trapped in his technique and would have beaten her in the match had he had more chakra left.

Did you even read the OP? He said if Shino vs Kankuro took place then during that time the shadows would have grown larger as the Sun passed over the stadium. Bigger shadows means an advantage to Shikamaru.

Shikamaru already had Temari in their match. If he had larger shadows to begin with then he would have had an easier match, thus allowing him to win.
