in the fight against hidan when hidan punched shikamaru he was able to catch him with his shadow. however, that was when he was able to catch his punch. if shikamaru cant catch lee's shadow when lee hits him without shikamaru blocking then lee wins. but if shikamaru can catch the shadow if a punch is landed anywhere on his body then shikamaru wins.
