I die a little inside when ppl automatically assume Deidara is too F6cking dumb to count his fingers, Shika is dead the instant Deidara takes to the air, Deidara has way too much offense, I'm flabbergasted at the fact that the guy F6cked up Gaara in his own village, and caught Bijuu yet ppl actually believe Shika stands a chance alone, with no lightning element...
Shikaman did his thing with Hidan, the absolute bottom of the bucket when it comes to the akatsuki, but it was a team effort, this is no fight, Shikamaru just get killed, he doesn't even have the mobility to F6ck with Deidara while he's using puff the magic dragon, and Deidara being in the air completely negates any chance of him catching him with shadow possession.
if Shika hides, all Deidara has to do is pop open some c4 and my boy Shika dies a silent death. Omg Deidara is the most underrated guy on NB. He's not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but you can't deny the fact that he's one of the most powerful and well rounded ninja in the narutoverse, unless Shika is immune to explosive damage, which I doubt, there's no way he can win.
I had to get that off my chest, tbh if you don't have lightning, I don't see how the hell you can fight the guy.

Right its not like Temari saved shikamaru from Tayuya when he was about to lose right? It aint like it was actually TEMARI who beat Tayuya with her wind attack right?

I think shikamaru takes this, as deidara easily casts shadows, whether he is in long range or not, if they are fighting where there is light, Shikamaru wins easily.
