now everytime he gets caught (which won't happen, maybe once)

Minato with mid difficulty. Shikamaru is smarter than Minato but doesn't have the techniques to fight Minato. Kakashi has a lot of techniques so I think they will work well together. But Minato is just too much

Well I'll take that back. If shika can prep (meditate) before a battle then yes I would think they would have a chance (slim to none) but you really can't hold Minato unless you destroy the seals and kunai which is probably impossible unless you follow him around.

You are right about Minato's> Shikamaru and kakashi's intelligence, but saying he created rasengan is not the best fact to back the topic up, cuz kakashi invented chidori which is said to be equal with the rasengan.

if kakashi and shik could somehow draw out the fight and shik comes up with some way to beat/ counter FTG, minatos base speed, and frog summons then they would win........but i doubt that would ever happen haha......

and minato is a genius too.....
