Shikadai - Second Strongest Kid?

The translated plot for the Boruto movie says he faces Boruto in the chuunin exam final for an epic fight. A Sasuke trained Boruto. And the fight only ends when the villains show up.

So this kid must have some Gaara level abilities if he can hang with Boruto. I am calling it now. Shikadai and Boruto are equal and Shikadai > Sarada.

Would love to see that. We see an image of Sarada in the chuunin arena. So maybe that is her battle. Though I doubt it, she's probably fighting some other person. They would have met higher up in the table.

Shikadai is possibly the smartest kid in the new gen. However Lord Mitsuki is said to be the "superior" shinobi when mentioned with bolt & sarada.

Nah, I love Shikadai but I'm not expecting him to do all that much. It'll probably turn out to be similar to the Naruto vs. Neji fight, with maybe some similarities to the fight where his parents met.
