Alright, so the Sharingan's defenses against visual illusions in the RP, is probably as follows:
1. Any visual illusion used on someone with Sharingan, can contain useful information that the Sharingan user can detect and analyse quickly, giving them an advantage, due to their Sharingan helps them "read/understand" what's happening at a rather fast rate.
2. Sharingan users can also notice the fluctuation in their chakra flow, and thereby be able to detect if they're thrown under a Genjutsu.
If I suddenly happpened to see lave on the ground, I could either analyze the situation (if I had more revealing information), if not, go with an educated guess, and tell myself the user can't turn the ground into lava in split seconds, lmao. Else I'd just be able to check my chakra flow, and notice the fluctuation, and thereby understand that I am under a genjutsu.
