( Genjutsu: Sharingan ) - Illusion Technique: Copy Wheel Eye

Description: This technique is simply the use of generic genjutsu used by members of the Uchiha clan. By simply having their opponents look into their eyes, the Uchiha can lock the user within a genjutsu of their choosing.
Note: Can only be used with 3 tomoe sharingan
Focus your chakra and use your sharingan to cast a genjutsu of your choosing onto the opponent when they look into your eyes. Yes, I know, useless ;P

Description: A sharingan Genjutsu, it requires eye contact with the opponent. The opponent is then made to believe that their body is made of paper and is burning, reducing their dexterity of movement, stopping them from performing handseals.
Note: Requires three tomoe Sharingan and eye contact

Description: This is an advanced Sharingan technique the user traps the enemy in an illusion without any eye contact, similar to Ephermal. The Genjutsu traps the victim in a torrent of crows, leaving them at the users mercy.
Trap your opponent in a genjutsu without any eye contact. The opponent will start to see crows, which will fly all around him, trapping him in this torrent of crows. With their dark body they will obscure the opponent's vision and confuse them as he cannot see what is what and where their opponent is. This leaves them completely at your mercy.

I'm glad that you're taking time to go through the techniques one by one, but many of these are extremly simple. I'm unsure what kind of response you want from me. The technique requires no eye-contact, which is great, but reading the technique has never been a problem for me.
You're the Sharingan-expert here; I'd like to know a bit about the battle-applications of these techniques .-. Could you help me with that as we go on?

It would be nice if you could tell me at least how you would use it in a fight, any disadvantages of using it in a fight and any advantages of using it in a fight. Normally I would ask more, but since you were a sensei when we started I do not deem it necessary.
In any case, this would be something around the lines of what Itachi used against Kakashi I suppose. Trapping your opponent in a torrent of crows to confuse them and making their vision obscure due to the pitch black crows blocking their sight as well. This leaves your opponent open for attacks which they would not see coming and thus cannot defend against.

Something like that, I guess, but I'm really interestd in how you implement these illusions into your fighting style. I mean; I attempted to use the generic 'Sharingan Illusion'-technique in short-range, but it didn't seem very effective even though I mixed it with Taijutsu that had no chakra cost, allowing me to attack while trapping the opponent in the illusions. My opponent simply surged the crap out of the illusion and defended, so I'm curious as to how one can maximise the effectiveness of these techniques combination-wise.

I will try my best, but to be honest I never use the sharingan genjutsus, not anymore at least since I dropped my sharingan bio. I'm merely teaching it because there was a lack of sharingan teachers, as you might remember.
So bear with me.
(Magen: Ketataumo ) Demonic Illusion: Piercing Feathers

A weaker version of Demonic Illusion: Shackling Stakes, it makes the opponent believe that numerous black feathers have pierced their body and trapped them, causing them pain and immobility.
Note: Requires two tomoe Sharingan and eye contact to use
Focus your chakra and look into the opponent's eyes as you send a chakra wave to disturb their chakra flow, trapping them in a genjutsu where you make them believe that their body gets pierced by numerous black feathers, trapping them. This image makes the brain believe they are in serious pain and they will become immobile by their brain believing that every movement hurts and beside that their muscles being pierced by the black feathers as well, causing them to become unable to move altogether.
This also automatically explains how to use it in combination with other techniques. This justu can be used in all ranges, and at the moment the opponent will be trapped in the genjutsu, they experience immense pain and will be unable to move, hence they will not be able to counter in time, because you cannot counter without moving in most cases, therefore you will be free to attack, be it in short range with taijutsu, or in any other range with any other type of attack you want.
I hope that was good enough, I still want to hear advantages, disadvantages and how you would use it and break out of it.
