But in solo, if he manages [which he can surely] to redefine his fighting style based on his wide arsenal of Ninjutsu... He can get past low Kage level shinobis...

Bruh. None of the past Kages had a Sharingan. They were all ruthless. The problem is, that everyone is noticing the power scale of Sas and Nar, and forgetting about Kakashi. The man is sick and pretty damn strong himself, although not on a nuclear level like his students.

I hope the movie clarifies that the Hokage needs to be a leader, and strong as well. Naruto and Sasuke can do the fighting.

Kakashi without a Sharingan has no answer for this. Since Chidori is just a straight thrust, he would be charging in a straight line and wouldn't have the eyes to anticipate the sand spiking out like that and he would get skewered.

All kakashi has really lost worth any value is kamui.

The lose of the sharingan Precog isn't a massive game changer and his genjutsu has obiously taken a hit but Genjutsu was never his forte.

Current Kakashi isn't much weaker than his normal 3T state. So War arc 3T kakashi is roughly as strong as Current sharinganless kakashi.
With his level of Genius i wouldn't be surprised if kakashi Gains a new fighting style and actually gains strength in the next movie.
