That's retarded, Sasuke had to hone his skills in order to maximize the efficacy of Itachi's eyes. There's literally no difference between them; Kurama's chakra is intrinsic to Naruto for him to obtain the power Ashura had and likewise, EMS is intrinsic to Sasuke for him to obtain the power Indra had. They're evolutionary steps that they're destined to take in order to access their Transmigrant's power, there's practically no difference.

Ok. Did Sasuke had to fight a life and death battle against the strongest bijuu to gain control over there power? I don't think so. While I agree he had to hone his skills at using EMS but the EMS as a power came to Sasuke by simply implanting Itachi's eyes while Naruto had to struggle against Kurama to fully control his power.
So gaining mastery over EMS is not even close to what Naruto had to go through.

Naruto vs Pain is more than enough. Everything before Kurama vs Pain was a legit battle and Naruto was nerfed because of Kurama too. He had restricted Sage Mode because of Kurama's Bad influence.

And also Naruto vs Kurama was MORE than legit. Hell he was physically stronger than Kurama.

Kurama prevented Naruto from fusing with the Sage frog, meaning there was a time limit on Sage Mode there was no other nerf.

Naruto without Kurama lost against Pain, Pain had Naruto captured until Naruto transformed into Kurama. Kurama did lot of damage to Pain even making Pain use a lot of chakra especially on the Chibaku Tensei. So Pain doesn't count as Naruto using only his own power.

Naruto vs Kurama heck yes I count that, even though Kushina helped it was still Naruto using his own powers and no one else.
