There's nothing to defend here. Kurama is one of Naruto's powers just as Itachi's eyes are Sasuke's. But at least Naruto worked hard to earn Kurama's trust and make his powers his own unlike someone who just got their brother's eyes for free...

Sasuke's powers are simply allowed to flow, while Naruto has unlimited access to something that does not belong to him and if it were to be taken away, we have no idea of how he would handle the situation. Even Sasuke had decent fighting with the regular MS against Danzo and the Five Kage.

Does it matter whether he had the power since birth. He didn't have SM too since birth. People acquire power as they learn and grow up. Its the same with Naruto. Bringing in the since birth argument is just stupid and pointless.

And Sasuke had the power of CM and later CM2 and not just his sharingan. Anyway that's not the point of discussion here. We're discussing who used external powers and Sasuke used Itachi's eyes without which he'd be blind fodder and that's that.
