So, are we done with the "Kirin needs no chakra" thing?.
On the other topic, now seeing what "base" meant, no. Sharingan is not base, as other people said, if he's not using sharingan, that's less than base?

Because manipulating the amount of lightning energy that can literally pulverize a mountain by altering its structure requires an insane amount of chakra which is the main point. Because of that, it's more likely to assume that it's a natural byproduct of the jutsu.
Yes it does.
Controlling chakra uses chakra; controlling an absurd amount of energy that would pulverize a mountain would by default require a lot of chakra. Seriously, do you even take a second to use common sense or are you pulling words out of your ass at this point? This literally doesn't even need to be explained here.

The heart and it's feelings trigger an emotional response which release the special chakra in the brain and you have the Sharingan.

Kirin doesn't require chakra. There's roaring SFX in manga when Kirin's created. It's some how some what a bit sentient. The word tame isn't coincidently used there. When Eight Tails claimed Naruto had to control the Nine Tails he used the word Tame. Naruto controls Nine tails with force. No. Tame essentially means controlling without a saddle.
Just because he said that he was out of chakra doesn't mean that he was completely drained. Otherwise he would've been dead. What could've Sasuke used to direct and shape manipulate the lighting other than the only source that all the characters of this manga use for their magical powers that is chakra?
At the very least lets agree that directing Kirin uses even a minimum of chakra and Sasuke is no shaman than can conjure a shoot lightning out of sheer willpower.

Sharingan and Ice Style are both Kekkei Genkai that need to be "activated". Haku has to merge his wind and water chakra's in order to activate his Ice chakra. Simply because Sasuke's eyes give off a new appearance doesn't change the fact that it's base.
Haku himself didn't always have the Ice Style, it awakened when he was a child due to a moment of duress. Both are Kekkei Genkai, and from what we know, all Kekkei Genkai have to be awakened and activated. It's a part of their DNA and becomes part of their base mode if it is awakened.

Except most uchihas have sharingan and nobody other than Hashi had wood release from the senju. Sharingan drains the user of their chakra while Hashi's wood dragons drain OPPONENT'S chakra. Completely different. So, no.... sharingan isn't base. Sorry OP, sharingan isn't base. Your thread is wrecked.
