Sharingan desings come from?

So as I was reading about shurikens in wikipedia I saw pictures that really reminded me of Sharingan designs, it seems that Kishimoto draws them from Shuriken designs:

Look at sharingan and shurikens:




You can also see Sakura's clan symbol and something similar to Neji's seal on forehead. :p

Really? That totally has so many relations to ninjas and it makes so much sense. *_*
Nah I just read that somewhere. Mangekyo is actually kaleidoscope which makes a lot more sense.

But I saw a pic that matched every eye to a specific pinwheel... It was a while ago. I think the wikia lists that too. Whatevs shuriken* or pinwheels, they are still cool as hell.

Nah I just read that somewhere. Mangekyo is actually kaleidoscope which makes a lot more sense.

But I saw a pic that matched every eye to a specific pinwheel... It was a while ago. I think the wikia lists that too. Whatevs sharingan or pinwheels, they are still cool as hell.
As interesting as this is this guy is probably right, mangekyou sharingan means kaleidoscope copy wheel eye. It could be a sharingan but I also read somewhere that inspiration came from pinwheels.

The ones that could come from kaleidoscope copy wheel eye are 8 and 13, others are shurikens no matter how I look at them. But 13 too has shuriken in it.
