I said itachi is a cleaver individual and he just uses his sharingan ablility in the best way he can. I never said sharingan can see through renningan.

In fact we saw in manga 551 that itachi would of been f***ed if it wasn't for the other two.

And no one saw manga 552 so we don't know if nagato is really gone yet

THats just an opinion you think he wouldve been dead ,when he had other techniques that can Destroy Chibaku, such as Amaterasu.

But kishi wanted 2 show us ANOTHER surprise Itachi has (Yasaka No MAtagama. instead of using Amaterasu. And kishi wanted to showcase Itachi's genious too. SO Kishi had his reasons for not making itachi just Amaterasu the rocks or sphere.

possibly true that kishi wants to showcase itachi's power and genius, but in my oppinion amaterasu would not have worked. it would take to much time for the flames to burn up the sphere, he needed a quick and powerfull long range attack, apparently that's yasaka no matagama, and extension of his version of susanoo. it might be comparable to sasuke's susanoo arows

I think Itachi just knew about nagato's abilities and rinnegan because he was also in akatsuki. I dont think sharingan has any kind of edge over the rinnegan. Rinnegan is the ultimate doujutsu used by SO6P himself and is said to be strongest of all.
