Sharingan and Rinnegan

When itachi and pain were revived with edo tensei,they got their sharingans and rinnegans back in their eyes.But as all of you know,itachi's sharingan was placed in sasuke's eye socket and pain's rinnegan was in madara's.But how did they get their eyes back?How do you think?

Edo Tensei revives the person to the state they were in BEFORE they died. Itachi and Nagato had their eyes taken out while they were dead.. so, that doesn't make a difference. They had their eyes before they died, so they were brought back with them.

Atleast that's how I've always thought it worked.

Yeah, as I said, I'm not certain about the details, maybe there's something I'm missing..and honestly, Kishi may have just overlooked that and thought "Ah well, it's not like anyone will care".

Just checked the Naruto Wiki or whatever, and it had this to say: "the same appearance that the revived had at the time of their death.". So.. yeah, the time of their death. You stumped me with that Sasori thing, as I said, Kishi probably just didn't care that much about small details like that.

anyway this question has been posted about a dozen times this week, no offense. Kabuto explains a lot about the Jutsu in chapter 520, you should read it again.

Some of the stuff hasn't really been explained yet, but the Sasori thing is easy; the jutsu relies on the shinobi's DNA so it would build whatever the DNA tells it too...which as we see in the manga is the body he had at his prime, before he did the puppet thing.

The Nagato thing is perplexing though...I guess we will find out...anyone care to post a super long theory involving chickens and Naruto's real father, so we can argue about it?

Nono, you've got it backwards. The Nagato thing is easy to explain, Sasori is the perplexing one.

It brings you back in the state you were a little before death, or at the exact moment that you died, either way.. Nagato still had his eyes (And was still crippled) before and exactly when he died. It wasn't until a while after his death that his eyes were taken out, so that's why he's that way after Edo Tensei. He's the way he was before/when he died.

Sasori is harder to explain, and I'm not sure if there is really an exact reason yet.. but I have a bit of a theory. Sure Sasori's heart was still beating when he made his own body into a pupper, but was his soul in there? Or was it.. y'know, passed on, as if he were dead? I mean maybe when he turned his own body into a puppet, and had only his beating heart remaining, that was the moment that he "died"? Because then he would look normal, and not be just a heart. Right?

..Ah hell, I don't know. Until Kishi gives us a solid explanation, I guess I'll just stick to my "He figured nobody would care/notice the Sasori thing" theory.

Realistic speaking if Kabuto ressurected a heart in front of Madara it would destroy the entire scenario.It just wouldn't make sense...

ok so the manga doesn't get specific about the subject...I guess your theory makes sense too...I would say that it would have to depend on when the DNA was taken from the subject, because that's the key factor. The DNA would stop recording at the time of death so if it was taken post dead than yup you're right. (eff I don't know)
