Sharingan and Byakugan equal?

I'm talking about regular 3t sharingan btw not ms, I know ms > byakugan

I was wondering if the uchiha clan was still around a no name uchiha fought against a no name hyuga who would win this fight?

Is there a clear winner just based on the eyes they have? Or is it pretty much even?

Would then only the level of skill the individual matter or does one have an advantage?

Sharingan can evolve while Byakugan can't.3 Tomoe Sharingan is more useful in terms of Genjutsu and breaking out of it.
The Byakugan can increase Taijutsu performance due to their eye's having better perception than the sharingan.

Taijutsu Hyuga > Uchiha

Overall Uchiha > Hyuga.

3 Tomoe is better because it allows the user to copy certain techniques as well as note most movements of their opponents.

Hmmmmm, the Sharingan can read all of the Byakugan user's movements and copy them.... but the Byukugan user has the ultimate defense against any attack... Also, a Sharingan user wouldn't be able to copy ''gentle fist'' so if the Byakugan user manages to hit him once then the Sharingan user would be K.O'd immediately. I dunno, I think they're pretty much on an equal level.

Dunno man, dunno..It all depends on their experience, who is more skilled, smarter, etc. But I'd choose Sharingan ;p

The sharingan users can predict a hyuugas movements, but the byakugan users have keen insight into their opponents chakra network and are trained to react to anything within their field of vision, so its pretty even.

You're wrong. Sharingan cant copy Kekkei Genkai.

Yea I just wasn't sure if there would be a clear obvious winner just because of there eyes or would you have to take a lot more into the battle.

Yea I agree, just seeing if I was missing something or something I wasn't aware of that gave one a bit of an advantage.

The biggest dissapointment in the series is how underdeveloped Hyuuga are. After spending the entire first part hinting towards how powerful the byakugan was, NOTHING has come from it. Kishi put them on the same tier as the Uchiha. Almost like the Uchiha and their sharingan's counter part.

I really hope that, at some point (maybe even OVA's, or spin off short series), Kishi will expand upon the clan. I understand that he created a very large reality, with many, MANY characters and clan a that all required back stories. The series would be 4 times the size if he gave everybody the same amount of development and screen time. A
