Describe to me what the Sharingan is, the various stages of it, users of it, how each stage differs, what are some of the commonly seen uses of sharingan in the anime/manga and in the rp, the history of the Uchiha clan, and more before we move on.

The sharingan is one of the dojutsu that exists in the narutoverse. It is the dojutsu that has been seen in use most, primarily because one of the main characters(Sasuke) possesses it. Over the course of time we have seen it graduate from its preliminary stages to its ultimate state, the EMS. Also it has been speculated that the other dojutsu, byakugan and rinnegan, are somehow connected to it but the byakugan's connection is not really clear. The rinnegan on the other hand has been shown to stem from the sharingan.
Generally the various stages of the sharingan grant one who reaches them more power. This is primarily because of the vast increase in perception as well as certain abilities that are unique to it. The vast increase in perception in the ninja world is invaluable. As Sasuke put it, you can't hit what you can't see. The sharingan also enables one who possesses it to see chakra. The sharingan exhibits marvelous genjutsu prowess. A signature ability is its ability to cast a genjutsu on someone by eye contact. Also other techniques such as the amaterasu and susano make the sharingan a force to reckon with. The Uchiha clan is the 'source' of the sharingan, however, Kakashi Hatake as well as Danzo have been shown to be able to use it to some extent.

The sharingan is a kekkei genkai associated with the Uchiha clan. It is activated during a stressful experience and the other three tomoes that make the kekkei genkai stronger are gained by extensive training and use of it. The sharingan grants the user an enhanced perception of motion that gets greater with every tomoe and the final stage -the third tomoe- grants the user ocular genjutsu and the ability to see chakra. After feeling an emotion that only comes from killing a loved one, a mutation of the sharingan known as the Mongekyo Sharingan will occur, increasing the perception and foresight granted by the sharingan further and giving two or three more abilities with them (the closer the killed individual is to bloodline, the more powerful) at the expense of losing the eyes to blindness forever. By replacing the eyes lost to blindness with another's Mongekyo Sharingan, the user will attain a different version of the Mongekyo Sharingan called the Eternal Mongekyo Sharingan that is a fusion of the original and replacement mongekyo's powers and petterns. This final form grants even more perception and some enhancements to the previous mongekyo sharingan techniques along with negating the drawbacks of the previous form. After further training, the Eternal Mongekyo Sharingan will allow access to the Rinnegan, if Senju DNA are obtained.

Hmm, both are descriptive of the clan in general, and the powers of the Sharingan is okay but you failed to mention how it is used within our rp and what each tomoe does in the rp, etc. Edwards answer was more detailed there but he has a new trainer now so it's rather not needed here.
Madara listens to the two descriptions of his loved clan's powers and turns as they speak, looking towards the distance. It had been some time since the incident that sealed his EMS away..he hadn't been able to activate anything above the 3T sharingan in some time....He hadn't figured out how or why it happened, he just held one thing to be fact: this wouldn't be for long.
As the last student finished, Madara turned back towards them, crossing his arms as he spoke.
Hmm, seems....dry. Your words lack wisdom and experience. Have you even had a fight with your Sharingan activated? I should end you here and be done with it...Let me explain more what each stage is capable of.
As Madara spoke, he activated his Sharingan, his eyes swirling to create a pattern displaying three tomoes within a red background.

Description: One of the Three Great Dōjutsu (San Daidōjutsu), the Sharingan is the kekkei genkai of the Uchiha clan. Unlike the other Dōjutsu, not all members of the Uchiha Clan possess the Sharingan. This great Dōjutsu seems to awaken only on exceptional Uchiha members and only in times of great stress. Once awaken, the pupil turns red and a single tomoe (巴) seal appears around the center pupil. As the user masters and evolves their eyes, the tomoe (巴) seals increase, topping 3 per eye. The main ability of the Sharingan, like any other Dōjutsu, is to enable the user to see the flow of chakra. This ability is further improved as the Sharingan gives color to chakra, enabling the user to differentiate chakras from different people or from different sources. Although the user can see chakra through matter, he cannot see beyond dense matter or in long distances. Coupled with the ability to see chakra, Sharingan users gain acess to an incredible clarity of perception that enables them to read insanely fast movements or minor details, enabling them the ability to foresee in an easier way, traps, incoming attacks, etc. This clarity of perception is so great that a Sharingan user can sometimes start performing a counter to an attack that is still being performed, enabling the counter to be launched only a split a second after the attack. This clarity of perception leaves Sharingan users able to track high speed movement easily as well as to read through handseals. This last ability enables them to learn techniques much faster and sometimes copy them directly from the enemy, as long as the user has the necessary chakra affinities and requirements to perform it. Finally, the Sharingan is often linked to Genjutsu and mind-manipulating illusions, mostly because the user can, mostly through Eye Contact, directly and precisely use his chakra to manipulate the enemy's chakra flow. In return, the users clarity of perception gives him the ability to more easily decipher visual illusions cast upon him and see past them. The Sharingan has a great cost to the user though. The chakra consumption disables its use for long periods of time and, even when the user grows stronger, it's still hard to keep it active for long periods of time.
Note: The user, if he hasn't gained full mastery over his Sharingan, will need to spend a move to activate it, although as long as he has chakra and enough stamina he'll be able to keep it active until the end of the match. If the user is Sannin Rank or above and has gained his 3 Tomoe Sharingan and held it for one month, he becomes able to passively activate it, meaning he'll no longer spend a move of his 3 per turn.
Note: To avoid direct Eye Contact and be able to focus only on the body movement below the chin, the opponent needs to have mastered Taijutsu to possess the necessary skill.
Note: Predicting the nature of a technique or what it exactly is requires the user to either know the technique or that its a cannon technique.
Note: Danzo and Kakashi bios activate the Sharingan by removing the covers in their respective eyes and suffer a +10 chakra consumption per turn penalty

First, that needs a new name >.>' Second, The Sharingan is one of the three great doujutsus alongside the Byakugan, and the Rinnegan. Most of it's power level is determined by how many dots or "tomoes" that are shown in the eye when activated, the Sharingan has multiple abilities gained from 1 Tomoe to 3 Tomoe, which are seeing the chakra flow, genjutsu related abilities and tracking and prediction abilities. Upon reaching the stages of Mangekyo Sharingan, these abilities' power increase, making one capable of tracking faster movements and even casting powerful jutsu of the eyes themselves, the most common of these beings Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, and Susano'o, the more powerful of the three. There exist another stage of the Sharingan, even stronger than the Mangekyo, which deteriorates over time. Upon taking another Uchiha's Mangekyo Sharingan and replacing the original with them, the holder awakens what is known as the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan. This stage is powerful enough to even control the Tailed Beast and grant one the power of a God. Or at least very powerful anyway. A few things each stage of the Sharingan have in common are the abilities of seeing chakra flow, genjutsu related powers, and tracking and prediction abilities.
First is regarding the chakra flow as that is the basic Sharingan ability and is reached when activating the 2 Tomoe Sharingan. This power isn't in the 1 Tomoe because when the Sharingan is in 1 Tomoe, it's considered an incomplete stage. The Sharingan can see the chakra located in anything that has chakra within it and is able to differentiate between them by "coloring" each person's chakra different, meaning that people's chakra color vary when you see it with the Sharingan. As a result of seeing this flow, doubled with the high clarity of perception that the Sharingan grants the user, the Sharingan has also the ability to differentiate between the basic 5 chakra natures, because each elemental chakra has a unique feature to it that makes it noticeable by the Sharingan. lThis is demonstrated within the five elemental releases: Fire chakra is, by nature, very hot therefore affecting the color pattern. Wind chakra consists of thin, sharp blades whereas Lightning chakra vibrates rapidly. Earth chakra, on the other hand, is very dense, which causes the chakra to appear dense, darkening the chakra's color. Water chakra slows in a freer motion than that of wind and lightning. Therefore, it is possible for the Sharingan to easily decipher the nature of chakra. However, this is only unlocked when the Third Tomoe appears in the Sharingan eyes. As a result of seeing the chakra flow of a person, the Sharingan is able to understand how the normal chakra network flows. Due to this, a Sharingan is able to detect inversely when a chakra flow is altered, flowing in a different way than expected. This allows the Sharingan to be able to detect genjutsus cast upon the host or those around it. The Sharingan cannot penetrate chakra, meaning that when a chakra flow is present in front of the Sharingan it can see past it no matter how faint or dense the chakra is which explains why the Sharingan is often bested inside the Hidden Mist Jutsu. However, the Sharingan is capable of seeing through thin walls that contain no chakra in them to a certain extent, like for example it can see chakra right below the surface of the ground, but it can't see chakra deep within the ground.
The second trait of the Sharingan stages are genjutsu related abilities of the Sharingan. As said above, the Sharingan is capable of determining the genjutsu when it happens by watching the irregular chakra flow. In addition to that, the Sharingan is capable of piercing through visual genjutsu of B-rank and below in case of 3 Tomoe Sharingan. What defines the genjutsu technique to be a visual one is it's features, like for example genjutsu that affects your eye sight making you see false illusionary images that aren't real. If a part of the genjutsu or all of it fools your sight, then your Sharingan can pierce through that genjutsu according to the rank. However, genjutsus that affect only your hearing or touch are not considered visual genjutsus and are not breakable by the Sharingan. However, breaking through visual genjutsus doesn't mean that the Sharingan can only identify visual genjutsu. It identifies all kinds of genjutsu through the chakra flow. The Sharingan can break through B-rank and below visual genjutsu, but that doesn't mean that the Sharingan user is immune to that level of genjutsu when used against him, the Sharingan often takes a second or two to break the genjutsu, depending on how powerful your Sharingan is by the tomoe level and such, meaning that the genjutsu will affect you for only a moment, but the next moment your Sharingan will break free of it. When encountering a genjutsu technique, you can't just assume that the Sharingan knows it; you have to clearly describe how you know it's a genjutsu in this case by saying that the Sharingan sees the irregular chakra flow and therefore knows that this is a genjutsu. When achieving the 3 Tomoe Sharingan level, you receive a new ability which is casting genjutsu through your Sharingan eyes. The genjutsu casted with the Sharingan is extremely fast, but of course has a drawback: Not only would one require a clear path to his target or looking into their eyes, many will not work, excluding those which are clearly said to not require eye contact.
The third ability of the Sharingan is the tracking and prediction/copying abilities. The Sharingan has the ability to slow down the movements when you are looking at them, meaning the movements will happen a lot slower to you than they are in reality. This doesn't mean that the speed is literally slowed down, you just see it slowed down with your Sharingan, which gives you higher reaction times when encountering fast movements, You also have to remember that for you to keep up with high speeds "normally", your body has to have the same speed of the target. You can see it, but your body doesn't have the speed capacity to keep up with it. As a result of high speed tracking and high clarity of perception your Sharingan is able to catch the slightest movement that's done by your opponent, even an ear twitch, making the Sharingan a great asset in close ranged fights. Also, the Sharingan is capable of predicting ninjutsu techniques that's done by your opponent, which have some conditions to using: first, you have to have clear vision of his handseal usage and second, you have to have encountered or know the technique that he's using previously in order to know which exact technique he is going to use without him even using it. This works for all cannon techniques once you master them, therefore you would be capable of predicting each and every cannon technique before they happen and therefore have more reaction times. For custom techniques you must have encountered the technique before or know it. Keep in mind that while you know the technique happening, you can't possibly react before it's done, meaning to use a technique before your opponent uses his justifying it by you knowing what technique he is going to use, in our RP this defies the timeframe rule. Your Sharingan is also capable of predicting Taijutsu movements according to the movement patterns of the body and reacting to it accordingly making the sharingan a very deadly weapon when fighting hand to hand users.

After successfully not falling asleep through the long speech/essay/talk/..... Sasuke blankly stares in his teacher's face and continuously nods as he is given instructions. When the clones disperse, he proceeds to follow the one who went west.
[To fellow student] Take the ones to the east and south, aight? That means there and there(points in the direction). Lets try and wrap this up in time for lunch.
With this said Sasuke sprints westward in search of his first clone. After srunning a couple of meters, he reaches the mouth of dense forest. He activates his 1T sharingan and walks into the forest. As he walks he scans the area left-right searching for any trace of chakra. He walks for many minutes, coming across many forest animals going about their daily businesses, but he hasn't the slightest clue as to where the clone may be. He stops at a point, contemplating if maybe he had already passed by the clone and didn't see him. As he's thinking, he absentmindedly has his gaze fixed on a butterfly. As the butterfly flies upwards he continues to watch it, tilting his head backwards. Just then it hit him. He should get on higher ground. With one swift movement he jumps onto the highest branch in the vicinity and starts to scan the area; the branches first and then the forest grounds. As he looks, he observes a slight movement in a bush a couple of meters away and quickly directs his attention to that place. He pumps more chakra into his sharingan and focuses on that spot, trying to see even the slightest hint of chakra behind the bush. As he focuses, the dark green color of the bush seemingly becomes slightly paler and he sees traces of a bright blue color behind the bush.

Sasuke jumps onto the ground and walks in that direction until he is right behind the bush. From this position, he can see the chakra more clearly and can even make out vague human features. He moves around the bush to see the clone sitting on a rock seemingly drawing a master plan for world domination.

He hops from branch to branch this time around, making sure he notes and checks out whatever subtle movement may be that of the clone. After a while he comes to a small pond. Figuring that it is as good a place as any to conceal oneself, he starts scanning the area in search of le clone. After "looking through" some boulders around with his sharingan and still not finding the clone, Sasuke turns his attention to the trees. The continuous movement of the leaves makes it difficult to pinpoint any particular place to look so he scans all the trees in the vicinity. He notices a faint chakra signature through the leaves a couple of meters ahead. Knowing that's his second clone, he gracefully walks there and jumps onto the branch to sit next to it..

Tetsu goes casually walking off to where he saw the other two clones sprinting away. In but a few steps, he finds himself in a temperate forest, staring at an innumerable amount of trees and tall grass.
"Hmm. If he's in the forest, he must have traveled the way all ninja travel through the forest...via tree branches."
Activating his sharingan, Tetsu carefully analyses the trees around him, checking for evidence of ninja travel; like slight depressions on certain branches and/or branches suspiciously bare of leaves, fruit or flower; which could only be caused by the clone jumping off of the branches to use them as platforms. In no time, he detects a few depressions of varying deepness that all lead down one direction. Tetsu follows the tracks carefully on the ground, not wanting to lose sight of them. Soon enough, he finds the clone leaning on a tree with his eyes closed. Tetsu taps him to let him know that he found him and walks off.
This time, he comes upon an open grassy plain. There was nothing but grass and clear sky to look at, nothing to tell Tetsu where the clone had gone
"This is going to be the hardest...wait"
Looking down, he detects some flattened grass the size of a foot - a footprint- then he spots even more of them. Some of them go in circles, indicating that the clone had spent some time wondering where to hide, but they ended up going in one direction: forward. Guessing it was all right to run ahead, Tetsu sprints forward, paying attention to nothing but the footprint with his eyes locked onto the ground. After a while, the footprints suddenly turn into a long skidding mark that tore the grass from the ground, leaving two strips of irritated soil instead. Tetsu wonders about this for a while as he sprints, then looks up and finds out why: there was a cliff right in front of him. He tries to stop his forward motion by skidding to a halt, but it's no good, he falls right off the edge of the cliff and everything goes black. When he wakes up, he's looking at an unconscious clone who had apparently fallen off the cliff too, only difference is that Tetsu woke up first. Must be because the clone he fell on top of cushioned his fall. Staggering up to his legs, he shook the clone awake.
"Done."
