Shadow Sages

I've thought of a decent strategy for Naruto to effectively keep sage mode active for the entire fight with Pein, through the obvious use of his shadow clones.

For those of you who don't believe shadow clones can enter sage mode, here's the page where Fukasaku basically confirms that they can at least gather natural energy, and also the page confirming that Naruto can at least create a shadow sage while already in sage mode.

(It hasn't been 100% confirmed if a shadow clone can or cannot enter sage mode on it's own, even though I believe they can, the strategy doesn't require them to do so.)

Ok, so pretty much the strategy is simple. Naruto enters sage mode, then creates 1,000 shadow sages to fight with. Now he can pretty much fight with his clones for about 2 minutes, then either hide and gather natural energy in secret until the clones fall out of sage mode, OR like 200 of his clones can recharge their sage chakra along the side of Naruto (which hides the real Naruto just as well, if not better) while the other 800 continue to beat on Pein while protecting the 200 sages. Finally, when they've gathered enough natural energy, Naruto can come back to fight for another few minutes, and replenish his army of shadow sages.

Some of you are probably thinking "What if Naruto can only create one shadow clone in sage mode? Then this strategy is useless!" which could be the case, but the strategy doesn't exactly fail. It just needs to be reworked a bit.

When Naruto falls out of sage mode, he can still create 1,000 regular shadow clones, and use some of them to gather natural energy by his side, while the rest protect Naruto and his "still" clones until Naruto achieves sage mode once more.

Yes i totally agree Naruto can use shadow sages, with only his power and a small mix of the 9 tails he can make a 1000 clones easy. now with the sage mode he should have a limitless supply of clones. Why you may ask? he has a limitless supply of chakra because he barly uses his. He is a better sage than J-man because he has no toad transformation. plus each clone has the same amount of talent as the original they all should be able to reach sage mode.

or the original Naruto can sit away from the battle with clones to protect him and just pull in natural energy for his clones. Naruto can fight this battle just like Pain but if this is how pain is fighting Naruto will have the upper hand because he has unlimited amounts of energy available. I also think their are plenty of toads for the clones shoulders so he can make just six sage clones do fusion with the other toads and fight them just like pain.

lastly with clones he can fight and gain experience without receiving bodily harm,

Naruto also has this advantage, no one has said this yet he can send his clones all over the world to train under the best and then add in all that knowledge to the original. ( But i think he would go into a week long comma after gaining all the knowledge)

naruto with his own power without any kyuubi crapra can make well over 1000 shadow clones.

Yeah but I think it might be harder to create a shadow clone that's already in sage mode than it is to create a regular one. So, while Naruto can create thousands of non sage clones, he might only be able to create like 5 shadow sages because it probably takes more out of Naruto to replicate something so powerful, hence the backup plan.

I was thinking after watching the anime; would it be possible for Naruto to have a clone in the back of a fight go Sage mode. Then make the clone disperse the natural energy into the real Naruto. Or when Naruto is making the ball, add sage energy into his technique. Making the ball have more power then before!!!
